Wish I could give this book 10 stars!!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My son is enamored with space. He wants his friends and family to go to space to celebrate his birthday. While we can't do that, I have been trying to buy him as many resources as possible. This book is large. It is vibrant and has amazing imagery. The write ups are easy for him to understand. The book contains a lot of knowledge about the solar system that I didn't know before, so it's a great way to learn together. The book is a good starting point to search for videos on the internet. It is one of his favorite times of the night to read books and he runs around the house showing new and amazing things to anyone who will listen. He is growing in his knowledge of space exploration. I would give this book 10 stars.

Many people have noted that the book falls apart at the binding. My son has never had a problem with this book. You can buy a different book. Very disappointed.

Perfect for my curious 6 year old daughter!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I got this for my 6 year old daughter because she was very excited by the idea of space and our solar system, after watching the Magic School Bus. She absolutely adores it! We read it twice in the past three days and she can read about half of it on her own.

Amazing for Kids
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My 3 yo is so excited with this book that he is happy to go to sleep. If your child likes Space, they would love this book. We just take a couple of pages per night and its not really a toddler's book. During the day, he is reading it by himself.

Great resource for children (and parents) to learn about space
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
A great resource for children. I learned a lot about the dwarf planets from my child. The book sections and pictures are easy to read, meaning you can read about the planets one night, then the next learn about comets, etc. The book is great for 3 to 6 years olds.

love the pictures and all the info
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
My daughter has been fascinated with space since she was young. She would watch the full length National Geographic films about each planet that we have on demand. I got this for her third birthday. She likes it! The pictures are clear and colorful. The book is broken down by planets and then the sun and other things, but the information is very interesting. We have had it for over six months and she still enjoys looking at it.

Great content, poor binding and durability
Derived From Web , Aug 7, 2020
The book has great content. My nine year old daughter loves the photos, text and illustrations and she is currently in space. Several pages in the book are falling out after just two weeks. I saw many other reviews with the same issues. I should have read them before buying. The book was returned and they sent us a new one. It seems to be holding up well after a month.

My 6 year old is obsessed with space. There is a good amount of pictures in this book and it is great for his age. He was excited when he got this as a birthday present. Don't wait if your kid likes space. Several books from natgeo are amazing.

A little over priced

The globe is just a globe without words. You have to use the app to see the names of the places. The animals on the app are hard to see because they are mostly seen as if you are looking down. It takes a little skill to use an Ipad. My grandson needs adult assistance to use this.

Pretty old

The first time I heard from my 6 year old, he said that Pluto is not a planet anymore and the books say so. It is a nice book to read to kids.
