First of all the book is wonderful. THE BINDING IS TERRIBLE
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
The book is first of all wonderful. BINDING IS TERRIBLE! The book is seriously in separate pages throughout my classroom throughout my book. I am a teacher, but I have a very small class and that the book would seriously fall apart in my hands after 2 months, is ridiculous! The kids love the book, but over half the book is taped together. When a teacher spends her own money on things for the classroom, this is not the quality we expect.

Wonderful book for kids interested in the ocean- even toddlers!
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
This book is WONDERFUL. My 2 year old daughter never tires of reading it and looking at the beautiful pictures. She has learned the names of so many species and the other day we were watching Finding Nemo and got excited when she could identify the Anglerfish! This was a great buy and I even learned some interesting facts about it. Looking forward to purchasing more in this series.

Short, cute, bright book

It was a gift to a 4 year old girl. Pictures are different and the paragraphs explaining the beautiful animals are long enough to satisfy their knowledge quest.

The sheer fascination of many beautiful living species inhabiting various oceans across the world is amazing! Its bright, colorful and detailed pages is ideal to keep kids interested and learn about the depths of our oceans! Inspires my son to recognize similarities and think critically!
Derived From Web , Jul 12, 2020
My son's only complaint is that there are no swordfish in this book. He is 5, loves everything ocean-related and knows much more than I do about ocean life. This book is perfect for him! After each animal, I especially like the critical thinking questions. I don 't have the book in front of me, but I think it is the sponge section that defines the sessile and then asks if you can think of any other animals that are sessile. It inspired him to start quizzing ME! When mentioned that seals have a layer of blubber, he asked me if I could think of another animal earlier in the book that had blubber. It isn 't even one of the printed questions. He is excited about learning things from this book, and anything that inspires learning in him is fantastic to me!

Nice but
Derived From Web , May 20, 2020
The book is very nice and interesting. My son likes to see all the pictures and ask about each animal, but unfortunately, paper tears easily and most of the pages are pulled out and i don 't know if i can put them back.
