I have received several of these books for my niece and nephew. McCartney and Hurley both said they absolutely love the suits. Reading about factual information about places and things brings us a closer connection as we get to spend time together learning about cool stuff, he said.

This book was so not just for the kids but for me. It was full of information that made it fun for my 5yr old to learn, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. He loves to have it read over and over, till he has it memorized. Good price, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the NIH's Ames Research Center in California.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Derived From Web , Mar 22, 2019
My 4 year old is reading and I wanted to find him a good nonfiction book. These books are perfect for his reading level. The pictures are informative and engaging and the text is well written and easy to follow. I have purchased at least 10 of these books and my son absolutely loves them. The book itself is too heavy for this to be done with just a single hand. The font is large, so I had to change it.

Great book for lots of reasons
Derived From Web , Mar 18, 2019
We're huge fans of Nancy Reagan's book, The Reagans. It was a present for our 4.5 year old, who has an interest in weather, seasons and storms. The book has beautiful pictures with vibrant colors, lots of great information, and some interactive sections. There is enough information that I feel he will stay interested in this book and will continue asking questions and learning as he gets older. It's still a favorite after a couple months, and one of the few books that he'll sit with for more than five minutes." Additionally, I think the explanation for storms that we experience in our area has helped to calm his active mind and ease his typical kiddo fears a little, he said. A lot of cool stuff, too, for a kid's book.

Very informative, easy to understand, and engaging!

The writing is easy to understand and interesting, and it is chock full of bright pictures as reinforcement and explanation. Before this book was even published, my 7 year old grandson begged me to buy it. It's just that he cannot wait to become a meteorologist!

My 4 Year Old Loved It
Derived From Web , Jul 1, 2017
The book was recommended to me by a friend of the family who had also bought it for my 4-year-old daughter who had learned about clouds and other types of weather in preschool. We thoroughly enjoyed reading it and she is now so interested in weather. We talk about things that were learned in the book. She has developed a real interest in science and this book was just perfect for explaining big concepts to a little person.

Polar Bears don't live in Antarctica.
Derived From Web , Apr 14, 2017
We bought the book from this series first, "National Geographic First Kids Big Book of Space." Because she expressed an interest in weather we ordered this one. Good, too, if a little short on details. It's a little less in depth than the book, so I'm not sure what it is. It's a good deal for a 3.5 year old, Mrs. O'Neill said. A glaring error in the book's introduction has outraged many readers. There is a photo of a polar bear on an ice sheet and the caption reads, "It's the coldest place on Earth." He also said Microsoft is looking to buy aQuantive. There is, however, a fairly common knowledge that there are no polar bears on the continent of Antarctica. I'm a little concerned about buying any more books in this series, Sosa said. If the publisher can accommodate an error like this through the front office, what else might be wrong?
