   but I think this may have been better for him when he was a little bit younger
I bought this book for my 7 year old son in an effort to encourage reading and present new and exciting facts about the world around him. I would suggest it for kids that age.

   Answers for a 6-year-old
My 6-year-old grandson, who has read the entire book, brought it to my bed every morning on my visit. It contained many relevant and timely information for his age group, written and drawn in vivid color. The divisions of the book gave it that much greater focus. From my viewpoint, the material could have been considerably more in-depth for his age, at least for him. But I know he and his parents will turn to it many times for answers to his WHY.

   Great for young kids!
I bought this before a week-long beach stay with extended family, as a new and interesting way to look at things. My six-year-old and three-year-old have loved it. It's a nice big book with lots of great photos, said McCall. It has a lot of fun questions, like why do my toes and fingers get wrinkly in the bath or why do I have to go to bed, Mr. Booher said. It also has about six full spread pages of silly pictures - things that don't make sense to my kids - they'll go through the book finding each of these pages and giggling together over the silly things they see. One thing I would add is that if you have kids that young, I'm not sure this would be interesting to them. Even my six-year-old already knew enough of the answers that I wondered if she would lose interest in the game. Any older than that would be too basic, McBride said.

It was too fast for my kid to read. There is no such thing as a complete list of all the weapons that have been used in Iraq. The book is on the shelf, and the kid doesn't care.

It was the perfect present for my 4 year old nephew. McCartney, who has had a number of brushes with the law, said he "loves it." He's in the why stage for a while now and I couldn't resist getting this for him to give him answers to his questions, Mrs Clinton said. There are more than 10 similar books in this series, so I asked him if he wanted more. He said yes and now I have made it a tradition to give him at least one present each birthday. He's a curious and witty kid, so I'm excited to be able to have ones to give him for years to come!

   Love this book.
I'm a huge fan of the Rowling books, and this one stands in a class by itself. It helped me a lot with a lot of his questions that I sometimes dont know how to answer. It's just that I've had a few things to learn along the way as well.
