This book was purchased for my seven-year-old son. I love reading all the pictures and it is easy to love. He likes reading this book and likes sharing what he has learned with others.

I have received a copy of this book from the publisher. All my thoughts and opinions are my own. This fact-filled little book gives us a glimpse into the life of Harriet Tubman, who was born into slavery, but eventually escaped and managed what was known as the Underground Railroad '', which helped slaves escape to the free states in the north. She worked as a spy during the Civil War and was the first woman to lead a raid of the Civil War. From this mini-biography of Nat Geo Kids, there is much to learn! The main text is large and easy to read and is paired with interesting photographs and additional facts about each that help Harriet Tubman's inspirational life story. There is also a timeline and a quiz page to test your knowledge of what you have just read! This is a Level 2 easy reader '' for independent reading and also includes information about Nat Geo Kids'apos ; Super Reader '' program!
