The colors are great and provide an extra pop
It was originally intended as a decorative item for my son's nursery. It's a double-sided piece of furniture, facing outward with some other odds and ends. It's great to have that extra pop of color. Even better, my daughter likes to look at the pictures in the book and hear about the different parts of nature. Yes, it can grow with us.

   Beautiful (once replaced)
Daughter borrowed one from the library and fell in love, so we ordered all 4. Simple but beautiful illustrations by Frank Quattrone. Note, there are some areas of the book that are written in cursive, and might frustrate any youngins who never learned it. Mine has but the font is a little sloppy on some letters here and there, so she was sble to figure them out or ask for clarification of she couldn't. I did originally receive a damaged copy and was frustrated that replacement wasn't an option and that I had to return and reorder but the 2nd copy was perfect, Morgenthau said.

   Lovely book
Such a beautiful book, Elizabeth. I may be enjoying it more than my kiddos but in a world where they are being catered to all the time, I am okay with that.

   Great for homeschooling, beautiful illustrations
The book is a true masterpiece, and I would recommend it to anyone. It has all the makings of a must-have for homeschooling younger kids. Many of the illustrators are also extremely talented, and the finished product is beautiful and adorable. It's not as informative as a classic encyclopedia would be, but it's also not as intimidating for little kids. Only a certain degree of writing proficiency can be expected from a beginner, and there is absolutely no chance for beginner readers to study it without others. However, the NIH said the term "covers certain fields of nature, but not all." For example, there is plenty of information on North American elephants, but there is no information on African-American elephants. However, we are not allowed to say whether it covers all local nature. Even though it is a great book, I will not lower the stars because it will be very beneficial for any kid.

Don't order spiral bound! Excellent book.
I bought this book because I love the simple, easy-to-digest information for teaching young children about nature, Mary. It's spiral bound to make it easier to use. It came with no plastic cover and I was disappointed when it did. I'm not sure how long this book is going to last, Byrne said. I wish I would have just ordered it without the spiral binding, since it would have been so easy. I took the other books, Ocean Anatomy, Food Anatomy and Farm Anatomy, to office Max and had them spiraled by them with a plastic cover for $6.

   Beautiful book!
For my 5 year old, I wanted a video game console. He can sound like a rock solid teenager, and I'm hoping this book will challenge him.

I almost didnt buy it but glad i did!
Ok, so far i almost didnt buy this book because of all the mixed reviews. I am extremely happy with the outcome of the investigation, Hubach said. I guess this is the kind of book you buy for a certain purpose in order to fully benefit from it. Homeschooling my 4 adopted daughters has been a joy. We are going to be doing nature journals this year. For example, drawing the sky at different times of the day, finding different trees learning and drawing them, and so on. I really love this book and will be using it very regularly to teach and explore with my kiddos.

   LOVE IT!
This may be my favorite of the three anatomy books Julia Rothman has made. Great information for both children and adults, Mr. Rule told us.

The perfect education + fun nature book for the family
I'm a homeschooling mom and knew I needed some help with math. After researching many books about nature I came across this one on Amazon. com. I have a child in PreK and one in K and needed to find a book that was easy to navigate, educational and beautiful, too. The book is also the only one of its kind to exceed all three. When it arrived and I got the chance to look through the pages I immediately noticed how fantastic the illustrations are and how well the corresponding writing is. It was the perfect storm for my husband and daughter. We're all so excited to be working with Simon and DB. We also ordered the Food version of this series and I can't wait to incorporate and enjoy that book with our curriculum. I'm confident we will get to a ton of amazing and educational lessons out of them, he said.

   Beautifully illustrated book
Very impressive work, said Pauley, one of the illustrators. It was a total pain in the neck, but I couldn't help but go through it as soon as I received it. The book covers such subjects as animal and plant anatomy, to leaf and cloud identification, to the phases of the moon and much more.
