   didnt help
The book was big, and compared with the actual test, this book would be like a children's toy car that for somereason tells you it will help you drive an actual car!! terrible, terrible, and not worth the money. The teacheres told me to go with what i was best in first so i did the english ela side, it took most of the time and i had to start guessing for math as i had no time at all.
   Tutorverse Prep Books are GREAT!
My daughters used Tutorverse for their SHSAT prep and the results were astounding in before and after scores! Great teachers, books, practice exams, class and private tutors, Mr. D'Antonio said. We're thrilled to be accepted by Brooklyn Tech! We are thrilled with the outcome, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
   excellent prep resource
As a tutor who has used various sources, I believe this is the best one. It is very much on target as far as the test topics go, and overshoots the average difficulty of the real test in some practice problems -- a great feature for a student shooting for a top score. The two practice tests are slightly harder than the real tests, so it may be worth considering when planning one's preparation schedule. Only by passing more practice tests would we get better marks.
Very good review book, lots to practice with
There are not that many books that are useful for this exam. This is a really good one to use, Paul. There are a lot of problems with the format, but the editor did a good job of outlining them.
Really great for practice but ELA is easier than expected
Really good book, Gillian. I love the math problems because I can learn so much from them. Even with the ELA, Pearson said, "it is easier than the actual practice tests given in the handbooks." Other than that, I have no complaints, Mr. Dhaliwal said.
Great resource to use for the SHSAT
This is a great resource for students to use in the classroom. It is easy to navigate since the topics are divided and labeled with loads of practice problems students can solve. The answer key is in the back, he said.
   Great Resource
From a mathematics standpoint, one of the most important things students can do is work on problem-solving. There are so many good reasons to choose these, Sosa said. Along with the number of problems, it's how well organized the book is. Simply put, if a student wants to work on a particular topic, they can simply refer to the table of contents to find where they need to go. I think it's important to mention how useful I find the Answer Explanations at the back of the book. I often encourage students to try some extra problems on their own if they still feel insecure.
   Great targeted practice
This book is the perfect companion to the GMAT, with tons of practice questions separated into topical categories as well as practice tests. The answer feedback is clear, concise and shows test taking strategies throughout.
