   Night
Night is about a young Jewish boy who's family is taken to a concentration camp. He and his father are split away from the ladies of the family and taken into separate areas to be worked. They are severely under fed and subjected to harsh beatings that have killed others in the camp. Anyone showing signs of illness or major injury from which they cannot recover from and work, is a candidate for the incinerator. They are routinely put through a selection process where if their number that is tattooed on their wrist is called, they have been deemed unworthy of life and selected for the incinerator. Everyday brings new horrors for survival.
The father son bond shared between Elie and his father is an unbreakable bond that will be tested by the camp time and again. It is certainly the the key to surviving the camp for the two of them.
