My daughter really loves this Bible, it's not as big or heavy as the large print one she had before, but the font is a really nice readable size. I went to a brick and mortar store and looked at a bunch of the Bibles of a similar type, and was disappointed that most of the ones for kids had really small type or really thin pages that would make the reading experience much more difficult for the younger reader. It also doesn't have all those corny devotional features that can be a distraction for a kid.

Perfect for Preteens/Teens

I got this bible for my daughter when she was 12 years old. For this as an upgrade to the bible she is currently using, I feel she has outgrown it. This book is perfect for preteensteens that are fairly familiar with a bible. For adults who are just getting into reading the Bible, a learning also is perfect beginner bible for that. We all know how hard it is to understand the Lord's Word. She also gave me her bible and I dropped it off to have it personalized. I'm very excited to give it to her, Tunick said.

I bought this for my God daughter whose in third grade I liked it so much with its explanations on the side, I decided to keep it for myself and get her another one for Easter. If you get confused, try reading the entire book. He said that "all things are good."

I bought this for my daughter's baptism and it's a good sized Bible. It's not too big, but it's not too small with tiny font. It's great for carrying around and reading. It's a really pretty cover.

I must have received a different copy than the other rater. The KJV is not the name of the book, but the same as any adult Bible I've seen. There is no note, map, or introduction to the book. My Study NIV has a better reputation for kids' books than this one. This Bible has a nice cover, but it's not suitable for kids. If you are looking for a kids Bible, this is the place for you.

Lovely Bible

This was for my daughter who attends school in the Christian school. Before they can take part in the Christian school, they must have bibles for class. This was a lovely, large-print bible with large margins of error that was the series the school was required by law. The princess has had a crush on the suit since she was a teenager, her father said. That pretty much sums up the whole thing: A big girl.

It was the first Bible my daughter has ever asked for. It's the New International Version, which my church uses, and has a leather cover. The book is fairly large and the pages are fairly thin, although the text is large. There is a one-page table at the back for weights and measures, but no maps, commentary or background explanations. This isn't a negative, per se, but it's important to understand what you're getting and what you're not.

The Bible has helped my daughter learn to read. I'm really pleased with the results, said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. I was looking for a good deal, JoAnn said. The cover is soft, it stays open well and the print is easy to read. The box says it's a Bible for kids, but I don't see anything childish about it, I would be happy to receive a Bible like this as an adult!
