Over the past 35 years, Marshall Rosenberg has done just that, peacefully resolving conflicts in families, schools, businesses, and governments in 30 countries all over the world.
On Nonviolent Communication, this renowned peacemaker presents his complete system for speaking our deepest truths, addressing our unrecognized needs and emotions, and honoring those same concerns in others. MY HEAD FELT LIKE IT WOULD EXPLODE
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I'm from New Jersey. Constant communication is the norm. I wanted to cover it across the room when I lectured on it. My head said it would explode. What a long time... It's one of the most free books I've ever read. It is highly recommended for anyone who wants to increase their freedom. If you are from the metropolitan area, you may need some gear.

This is the worst book on communication that I've ever read
Derived From Web , Mar 17, 2021
This is awful. The author's suggestions for how to speak to other people are odd. Real people don't talk about that. The author doesn't like how people act. He tries to give weight to his assertions by relating various stories, many of which are so out of place and ridiculous that I think they cannot be true. This hurts my faith in the author and the techniques he is teaching. The author seems to think that his views on life and Nonviolent Communication are applicable to every situation. He thinks that everyone is healthy and reasonable and can care for their own needs. You can make things better if you change your approach. Anyone who has suffered through an office psychopath at a job you can't quit, or an abusive spouse or relative knows that this isn't true.

Bring peace in your relationships
Derived From Web , Jun 20, 2020
The book provides straightforward lessons that can transform fights into fond memories. We don't need these lessons in an ideal world, but we do need to learn this gentle, loving and clear communication style because of how we learned how to communicate. Violence does not refer to physical fights, but rather rough and anger- provoking speech.

I love this book. It makes you think about how we talk to each other. I had to get it for class. There are a lot of good books for college. I recommend it to everyone, not just for school.

Get the book, read it with your family.

The book is well written. I'm trained in counseling. Many of the books are very complicated and wordy. This is a great example to follow. I thought I was good at communicating, but apparently not. very useful.

So informative
Derived From Web , Mar 18, 2019
This is one of the best books I have read. I enjoy learning to read. It's an easy read and when you put it into motion you'll see the difference. There is no violence in the title. It's how we usually speak.
