   Expected just another singles book...but this surprised me!
I really appreciated the author's laying out of that fact that as Christians we are all "not yet married", regardless of marriage status - because of waiting on our Groom - Christ.
The author tells good stories from his own dating years, and offers good practical advice for those in different stages. I really enjoyed this book and bought it for 2 friends!

   Sweet Book- Good Read
I encourage God to have books like this that are so encouraging and informational. It goes without saying that the only book we read that also reads us is the inspired word of God, but books like this are a nice compliment to read about someone else's experiences in Christ and to be encouraged by what they have learned. I would read it twice and would recommend it to other brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are not yet married.

   Your typical singles book.
This book seems to be written for a middle schooler. How many times does he has to mention instagram before he can relate to us? The content is basic and is exactly what your aunt says to you every Thanksgiving, anyone in your life yet? If not, stop the whining and be a good Christian just by waiting well. I shared this book with my friend and she said, if this is what love is, then I am out. Another Christian book for simplistic and unempathetic singles is just another book of the same name.

   More than Just Relationship Advice
It completely blew my unhealthy thinking patterns relating to dating. It gave me a hunger to pray for God's word and further to develop a relationship with Him. I learned so much about myself and more importantly God. It prepared me to celebrate and enjoy whatever life I am called to, whether it be aloneness or married. Besides being a book on dating or singleness, it addresses a lot of sinful patterns that people form in life. It definitely comes from the perspective of dating, but I was able to address some other issues of root sin in my life. It is incomparable. I have already lent it to a few friends, and I intend to buy a copy for my college and high school.

Here there isn 't too much to encourage those who are older in their faith and in the not yet married '' game. In general, I aspire to connect with the author's heart and experiences throughout the book.

   How to Be a Joyful Christian (Who Is Not Married)
A wonderful, biblical book that has helped me to be a better pastor toward singles and I think I can anticipate and parent for when my children enter this stage of life. This is not a book so much about singleness, but a book about being a contented, joyful Christian in whatever stage of life God has you in. I know of no better book on this subject than mine.

   not just another "date this way" Christian fad
I like this book because it is not just another Christian book saying here is how to date as a Christian. I have often been told not to be the right person, but to look for the right person. I really like that this book teaches a single person to find their joy in God so that they are the right person.
