   Great freezer meal ideas
Great ideas for freezer meals! The book could have been laid a little better, but I do love the sections where it gives shopping lists and action plans for cooking a large amount of frozen meals in just a few hours. We'll get a lot of use out of this as we prepare to fill our freezer before a kitchen renovation takes place! ***Update*** so-five hours and 18 dinners prepped and either in the freezer or in the chilling before being frozen. I'd say that it was well spent time. Spent 90 minutes gathering recipes and creating the full ingredient list and comparing it with our pantryfreezer to get a complete shopping list... then 45 minutes in Winco selecting all the items needed on Saturday. Sunday I spent 5 hours in the kitchen and shaved 18 dishes! My freezer is filled and the meals are ready to go!

I am so glad I chose this book
I recently decided to start making freezer meals to help with the budgeting and time. I am so glad that I chose this book. I love that the base for several recipes is a homemade cream of celery soup. My son has a wheat allergy and I have been able to make the soup base with gluten free ingredients, thus allowing him to share many meals with us. I think the information provided about the proper way to freeze and thaw has given me the confidence to try something new. I also like not just the pre-planned cooking days, but also that she gives you the tools to organize a custom plan for preparing any combination of meals in the book.

   Awesome book!
This book I found at my library. After checking and renewing several times, I decided that I should purchase. I am an avid cook and use the freezer to streamline. This book gave me new ways to think about freezing food and some awesome recipes that my family loves. I made at least 20 recipes from this book. We did not like only 1.

   Yes! Yes! Yes!
As a working mom and wife for a full time, this book was a god send. It is a lot of prep work, but it feels so good to have home-cooked meals ready at hand. I tried at least a dozen recipes and they have been approved by husband and 15-month-old son! It is a lot of prep work again... but pays off!

Incredibly helpful in time of need
I bought this book a few years ago and I used it for a few months and then forgot about it, like all my other cookbooks. I, however, had a liquid surgery that would leave me on an upcoming diet for a month. I knew how stressed my husband would be, so I turned to this cookbook and went on a spree of prepping meals for him and my daughter to eat while I was unable to. It was so helpful to have these recipes and write specific directions for my husband to reheat after thawing, etc. AND my very picky daughter, who loved every meal I chose. I highly recommend this cookbook, especially if you are someone who needs to plan ahead.
