   Great book
I love this book! I was hesitant at first but there are just so many recipes I read that were like, I’d make that, or this would make an easy weeknight meal. It’s sort of elevated simplicity. Love it!

   The best
Over the course of a week, I have made about 10 recipes from this book and each one has been incredible. The chicken has caramelized onions. Squash with butter and pistachios is amazing. Pork meatballs with a lot of tomatoes are amazing. This is the most consistently delicious cookbook I have ever owned. Thank you very much, Alison!

   Can’t go wrong.
I have made three more from this book so far, and all three have breathed new life into my dull week. Potato chips with anchovies on them? Come on. The woman is a genius.

   Incredible Cookbook
I have many, and this may be the most wonderful cookbook I' ve ever bought. I have had this book for 3 days and I am already cooking my way through the most delicious, inventive, original dishes that I have produced in my kitchen in a long time. The green beans with walnuts? I wouldn't have thought of it on my own. Peas with burrata and a wonderful blend of greens? It was simple to prepare and tasted good. You wonder at Alison Roman's evil genius at developing such a simple and craze inducing snack. I can't think of a better way to describe the Roman layers flavor profile. Purchase this book. The food is mind- blowing and it is a pleasure to read about it.

A Great Cookbook for Sane People
You might find yourself in my living room and ask, what's with all the Alison Roman cookbooks? The clippings from the NYT? The printed and framed images from her Today Show appearances are strewn about your living room like a shrine. I know Alison Roman is the hottest ticket in cooking, and her recipes inspire those young and old to prepare meals and treats they'd never otherwise dream of making, but I think you' re a man obsessed. I have also read Nothing Fancy. I like the clear direction. There are accessible ingredients. The clean design and calming approach to cooking Alison Roman is what makes this a beautiful book. It's amazing! I believe what's happening here is related to the deranged. I would ask who are you? Get out of the house.
