Absolutely Beautiful Bible! Far exceeded my expectations!

Television images could not be loaded. This is by far the most beautiful Bible we have ever seen. The binding, the pages, the weight and the overall construction are absolutely phenomenal. Such a beautiful book, put together with true care and delivered to us with care, she said. Easy to read typeface, and I'm so happy with it. It's a nice Bible, for example. It's a good size, not too big but big enough that it's easy to read, Hachette said. The pages are super thin so my fat fingers have a difficult time turning them.

I found error in this book

The error occurred when I began reading the New Testament. Not a life shattering one, it said that King Herod's daughter danced for him and requested John the Baptists head, etc. She was his wife, it was her daughter, whom he had danced for, and whom he called Hero's stepdaughter. However, as I said, it's not a life-scavenger error, but if there's one error, how many more might there be? I couldn't return it as I'd already written my name in it, so I ordered another, Saint Joseph edition for approximately the same cost, large, very beautiful, with much more to offer.

thin see-through pages make words difficult to read

I wanted a bible that was easy to read. The new book also includes a large format version of the Lord's Prayer. The pages are so thin that the words are visible from the opposite side and the next page, right through the paper. The Harrisons are disappointed, Vazzi said. Pauley also tells us that he plans to return the lost bible.

I'm pretty particular about what I like in Bibles, he said. The NRSV is a must, along with the translation of the Roman Catholic Church. This one provided all that, plus very comfortable text and a right-size format that makes it easy to hold and to read, plus it was also available in a number of other languages. The leatherette cover was finely done and the perfect-sewn binding allows the book to stand up straight on the reader's desk. A very good choice for me, and likely the same for you, too.

It's great for small books, leather or like-leather, large enough to print chapter intros. A lot of good stuff, too. I could wish for a slightly larger margin for note taking and a slightly nicer binding, Mr. Dhaliwal said. Also, some reference materials are cross-referenced. But with the chapter intros, nice quality overall, and larger print, I'm very happy!
