My grandson loves it

My grandson is in his reading class by Zoom 3 x a week. Pauley, the New Republic journalist, has this book and so do I. We get it out and read it as treat at the end of his lesson. And he has all but disappeared from the planet's consciousness. He is a crack when we are trying to pronounce the Latin names! He was 7 when his father, Michael, was killed.

No evolution and old earth mentioned

There is nothing mentioned about evolution or old earth theory which we like because God created the universe and all things. However, we do have many books with the other because it's so difficult to find any science-based book without "millions of years ago." There are some neat activities that have some neat activities ie to mimic ocean current in bath tub and to mimic how whale sounds under water. The book has been recommended to our children because it tells them about the ocean life. It's just a snap shot of each one and gives list for further reading in the back. Very nice pictures, Mr. Caramore said. Overall, I would recommend it. It was a present from my wife to our five-year-old twins. Their 9 year old sister, who has also grown up with the French culture, is a huge fan.

The book is very informative and I recommend it to anyone who reads it. It's a bigger book, so it was good, too. I've always found the quality of photos and paper to be a problem. The tiles are flat and dull, making them seem more like decorative elements. The pictures are small, but the captions are large. It's a kids book so I expected it to be a little brighter and more "glossy." Overall, it is fine but could have been better.

My nephew has ambitious plans to become a scuba diver like me. He's still a bit too young to join me in the sea, but I'm giving him a head start in the form of the right reading material. Our daughter is obsessed with the ocean. In "Finding Nemo," Dory wants to know more about all its creatures. In addition, we are getting all the books we can for her.
