Needs A Refresh. Newer Books Available Are Better
Derived From Web , Nov 18, 2020
I used the Sullivan Guide as well as the Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer All-In-One published in November 2020, written by Hyman to take my exam that previous week. There are some topics that are not covered and new topics in the objective map, which are not included in the text that you have to watch out for. The other book has also a much better set of practice tests to prepare for your certification. The extra money is well worth it. I strongly recommend that if you are in the market for buying a certification text to prepare for the exam, you prepare one or both books, as both books are necessary to pass the exam. This book will not cut it alone.

Hit the Important Point
Derived From Web , Aug 12, 2020
I liked that this book was published by Wiley, a long-standing company that has made many textbooks for higher education. They know how to turn the material into a very digestible form. And at about 500 pages, that is what is needed. Since this is an official guide endorsed by Google, I think it should not be overlooked.

Good, but use other resources as well
Derived From Web , Aug 5, 2019
With the help of this book, I recently passed the ACE exam. However, I also used other sources like youtube, udemy, quizlet and Google Cloud documentation. The test and practice questions were very helpful and are alone worth the price of the book. I found the exam itself very different, however, from any of the questions I found online or in this book, so I'm a little surprised that this is the official guide, so I recommend buying this book if you are planning to take the exam.

Easy to follow with some typos
Derived From Web , Jun 3, 2019
I’m about halfway there and the format and layout of the book makes it very easy to follow. My biggest issue with this book is editing. It will tell you that parameters for functions are a thing in the chapter and the answer in the review will say that it is something different. You end up having to go to GCP to figure out which is actually correct. Or the answer key says that A is correct because of X '', but X '' was actually C, not A. You are therefore left wondering if A or C is the actual correct answer.
