Book Overview

Journey through the fascinating world of dinosaurs with everyone's favorite Cat in the Hat in this positively prehistoric adventure The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library is a nonfiction picture book series that introduces beginning readers ages 5-8 to important basic concepts.

Learn about how fossils are formed and found, and get an easy introduction to dinosaurs from the flying Archaeoptyerx to the spiky Ankylosaurus. (And not to fear-the Cat in the Hat will break the names down for easy pronunciation for kids and parents.) Perfect for readers who are crazy about dinosaurs (or even just dino-nuggets) and for any kid who loves learning and science.

Featuring beloved characters from Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat, the Learning Library are unjacketed hardcover picture books that explore a range of nonfiction topics about the world we live in and include an index, glossary, and suggestions for further reading.

Pretty much all the stuff you need to know is in Dr. Seuss. -President Barack Obama

   Wonderful Series
The books in this series are great. They are fun and educational. You feel like you are teaching your child valuable information when you read these books. He enjoys it because of the amazing illustrations and the playful wording and scenarios that make the book engaging. Someone designed this series. After a while, it's pretty hard to do workbooks throughout the summer. Multiple outings throughout the week are not practical when you have newborn twins at home and the quality of the book is not good. This series of books is a great way to entertain my 4 year old son without him having to leave the house every day.

   My grandson loves this book!
My grandson loves his new book and he is 2 years old. His mom should read to him before he goes to sleep. He recognizes the pictures in the book. I bought it for him.

Fun book with some Dino facts
There are fun facts about dinosaurs in this cute book. It is easy for kids of young ages to understand and enjoy. Not all lines rhyme or have the same rhythm, but it is pretty good. If you're looking for a nice little book about dinosaurs with some facts, this is a good one to have.

   Who is dick?
A good book is definitely a knock off and my son was pretty upset that I kept calling Nick, he wasn't sure where he came into the story.

   Perfect
It was just as described. When I read it to my son, he likes it. I used it as a guest book for my son's first birthday party, and there was plenty of space for people to write little messages with their names.

   Educational and surprisingly accurate (enough)
This book is fairly accurate because of the new knowledge about dinosaurs having feathers. The book provides pronunciations and overviews that are age appropriate.

   Missing pages
The Outside of Book looked great until I started reading it. A boy thinks Santa gave him a book with torn pages.

   Adorable and informative!
Too cute! My nephew is turning 4 and requested dinosaurs for his birthday. He likes The Cat in the Hat. I can already tell that he loves dinosaurs because he has had some trouble with bigger words. Several dino names are easy to pronounce. It was a good thing. I can't wait for him to see it.

   Assembled wrong
The media couldn't be loaded. The book was assembled wrong. The back of the book is upside down when you open the front cover. The hardcover should have been put on correctly.

   Must Have!
I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. She loves it so much that she always asks me to read it to her. Definitely a must have.
