   Old Man's Cave
We received volumes 1-5 at a comic book store in Albuquerque to test the series. In this volume, most characters head to the Old Man's Cave, both as a refuge from the rat creatures and as a learning of the origins of the old kingdom and Lord of the Locusts. Finally, Phoney is captured by the Hooded Ones and the revelation of who this sinister character is disturbing. In storytelling, things are still pretty grim, but there is still some humor to spice things up, such as the revelation of the reason why Phoney is supposedly a threat to the forces of the Lord of the Locusts.

   A Great Leap Forward in the Saga
If you've gotten this far, you know what a kick is the Bone series. What you need to know is that Volume Six carries more than its weight in the saga, including a whole raft of mysteries about the royal family, the hooded bad guy and the search for the one who bears the star. It is a masterpiece of plotting-less and yet Smith doesn't pull any of his solutions out of the left field. Buy this, read in a comfy chair and plunk through all six straight!

   Bone... a childs entry into comicbook fandom.
I can not tell you how many people I have recommended Bone to. Every time I am in a comic book store and see a mother and a youngster looking for something to break into the comic scene. The first thing to come to mind is Bone. It's a great book for all ages, it is well written and your children will love it. With all the adult stuff out there... you really need to be careful about what your children are reading. Bone is of high quality and safe.

He was written in a comic form and devoured these books within a few weeks. I kept having to buy the next one and then donated them to his library, so that his friends could read. He even read them out of sequence, then went back and read in order. Great books :

   Amazingly well kept
I played the 1 game they made, but it was only a quarter of the story. My library never had these books and now I can read them finally. This is a great series and the book came in an amazing quality. I was a bit nervous at first because of the warning that the seller says about it having markings and what not. Take the risk and if it is not advertised just return it ) it just depends how much that book has been read.

Once you start reading about the Bone Cousins and their troubles, you feel as though you are part of the action and have to follow them until the end as they meet more fantastic characters. Every person, animal and creature adds to the adventure of the Bone Cousins as they try to make a new life for themselves and uncover secrets about other characters that will affect their future. The book act is vibrant with lots of details to the characters as well as the scenery around them.
