My FAVORITE of the Olivia books
This is by far my favorite book by Olivia. My daughter also loves it. There are so many books out there encouraging girls to be princesses and felly, which is great for girls who like it. But for those of us with girls who love firetrucks as much as baby dolls, they don 't really appeal to us. This is written in a fantastic way! It is all about her trying to find a way to not be like every other girl and to be a princess. Her options will make the adult reader laugh more than the kid, considering that they won 't get it, and her ultimate choice is quite clever. I love books that don 't talk to children, but give them a chance to increase their vocabulary, because Olivia speaks very much like an adult. It is witty, creative, encourages independence and flat out funny.

   YASSSS QUEEN
Olivia wonders why all girls and some boys want to be princesses and all look the same. Why can t they be Japanese princesses or a princess from China? Queen features what she really wants to be - Olivia! The book was cut off in Cute. My boys are big fans of Olivia ''.

Live and Learn with Olivia--a Piglet with Attitude
The book introduced us to Olivia. The pig loves me, and my granddaughters love hearing the stories about her. She is a pig with an attitude, not the standard character in a children's book. But Ellen lives and learns and the girls learn with her. There may even be a few lessons for the grandmas, too!

   Gotta love Olivia!
Another great story about Olivia Princess is the Isabel Fuchs. This book is very much worth the price, the paper is thick and the illustrations are beautiful. This will be a keepsake for my great grandson to pass on her children.

   One of my favorites.
I love to read to my girls books and this installment of the series did not disappoint.

   I love the illustrations.
The wording is really slanted to an adult. I come up with my own words, which works fine for a 2 year old.

   My kind of "princess" book.
And she loves princesses all the sudden. Me, not such a big fan of princesses and all they represent. Olivia agrees with me and doesn't understand why all girls want to be fairy princesses when there are so many other choices available. This is a princess book, I am more than ok with reading to my almost three-year-old girl! I love writing, illustrations and the message. Book is great!
