   Great Book - Arrived FAST
This book was recommended to me to help get my new baby on the right track with healthy sleep habits. The book is great! It gives examples of what to do and how to do it, and also gives examples of what parents should not do. It contains great advice. The book arrived within a few days and was in perfect condition. I would recommend this book to anyone with a baby on the way ''. It is also a good book for fathers to read too! !
   Excellent book that uses common sense!
This book was highly recommended to us by friends who have used it with success. It even lined up with what our pediatrician told us as far as feeding our son every 2-3 hours after he was born... BW would say to be consistent with these times. A parent's role is, ultimately, to do what is best for their child, and babies need sleep and a routine for optimal growth and development. I was surprised by the negative reviews I read because this book recommends feeding the first 2 weeks on demand and encourages you to watch your babies cues. It worked for us, and we continually receive compliments about how happy our son is. He is 8 months old, sleeps through the night, takes 2 naps a day that 2 hours each, and is down to 4 nursings a day. BW worked for us!

I really enjoy this program and have recommended it to many children. I have 4 children, and they all slept through the night by 8 weeks! It has been a real blessing. But read it all. I have had friends who make their baby cry until it is time to feed them. That is NOT what this book teaches!!! THOROUGHLY READ IT THOROUGHLY and it will be a true blessing! It used it with Dunstan Baby language on my last and he is SUCH a happy guy. I recommend it on the way.
   I recommend this book to EVERYONE who's expecting
I read this book twice before the birth of my son. Just reading it made me feel better about the impending sleep depervation that everyone who knows your pregnant has to comment on! It made me feel like I had some control over the situation. I implemented the routine after the first 2 weeks and it works! My breastfed baby started sleeping at 5 weeks old 8 hours per night, at 5 weeks old! And is such a happy baby. There is something to be said for having a routine and sticking with it! At 4 months, he is sleeping 10-11 hours per night and I am still exclusively nursing. He loves his sleep as much as I do! BUY IT! BUY IT!
An okay book. Advises about how to set up a real sleepwake schedule, but gives no real advice on how to do it or how to actually get your baby to fall asleep. Which is the main point of receiving the book? I wouldn't need a book if I already knew how to convince him to go to sleep on his own.
   Great for new parents.
This book really helped my wife and I understand the process of becoming better parents. It has helped us to find a balance that works for us as far as when to feed our baby and what methods to follow. I have noticed that in the version we got that the burping baby graphics were wrong. One of them was a duplicate of another, but the book explains things enough that the graphics are really necessary. Great book. Any new parents out there recommend it completely for any new parents out there. Get it before you have your child though.
   Great guide
I read this book while I was still pregnant ''. I read several books just to give me some ideas to make an educated plan for raising our son. While some people think that this approach is very strict, I think that the principles are very strong. We followed the eat, wake, sleep pattern from day 1 at the hospital, and I believe that our son is a good napper because of it! We were always on a three-hour routine and it was great for our family. Our son is now 16 months old and down to a nap, and he sleeps for three hours for that one nap. I truly believe that it is because we put a good practice from day 1 into place. As with any guideline, you need to do what works best for your family and adapt where needed. I highly recommend this book to any expecting parent. Just take what parts work for you!

I would recommend this book to every new parent! Obviously every baby is different, but the method taught in this book has a very high success rate when it is followed. The basis of the book is teaching you the proper way to schedule the meals and naps of your baby. I have personally breastfed, but will work for either method. My child was hardly sleeping, day or night, my child. I got this book when she was about 7 weeks, I think, and the first day I put her on the schedule, she woke up once that night. After a few weeks of being on this schedule, she then began sleeping through the night! Minus has been an occasional teething or other situations, and has been a great sleeper ever since, and is almost two now!

I love this book ''. I give it to all my friends expecting it. It has given me my sanity after having all 5 of my kiddos and puts them on a wonderful sleeping path for the year to come. It allows you to have confidence because you know what to expect.
An excellent book that has worked with all four of our children, even with different temperments! Following the principles of Baby Wise gives you confidence as you parent, especailly for first time parents. All four of my babies were happy, contect and sleeping early through the night. That makes for happy babies and very happy mommies. For the last ten years, I have given a copy to expectant friends.
