Fun and entertaining story. Your kids will be entertained!
There is a fun little tale about Thanksgiving. It's a good and entertaining story. It's perfect when you need a Thanksgiving tale around the holidays. The artwork is stimulating. The illustrator is focused on detail. Judy cox is a story teller. She teaches children an important lesson while the kids are engrossed in a story. She uses words that children understand and introduces new words to children. My son was at the library when he was introduced to this story. I bought it on Amazon after he begged me to find it. Judy Cox has other books with the mouse character. The author should make more books about this cute mouse.
Love, love, love the book. It's a great way to teach kids about being happy with what they have. Young people are attracted to illustrations. At Thanksgiving, I reach for this book because of the well- written story, but also because of the lessons that need to be learned with a child. A great reading experience!
A perfect, fun Thanksgiving book for young kids
My three- year- old loves this story. A mouse is trying to sneak a Thanksgiving feast of his own from the leftovers sitting out on the table after Thanksgiving dinner. I love that the book ends on a positive note even after the mouse's plan goes awry, as my kid loves the silliness of the story. My kid decided we should leave a pea out after Thanksgiving so that any mouse that might be in our house can have a Thanksgiving feast, so we started calling mashed potatoes mouse potatoes.
   One of my favorites!
The books were recommended by the library. I love it. I have had a hard time finding books that are Thanksgiving themed. My children get a kick out of it and my daughter still enjoys it. It is a wonderful read aloud storybook.
   We love this book!
Every Thanksgiving, we read this book in our house. We do a activity with this book. I drew a picture of the food items the mouse picked up after tracing the mouse. My kids cut out a mouse with food. They glue the items on top of one another. We are taught to be thankful and not to be greedy.
   Captures a child's attention
My granddaughter loves this book. She asks me to read it over and over. She is familiar with the story by heart. This is a good book to read on Thanksgiving.
   Perfect for kindergarten!
This is the sweetest story! It keeps readers engaged, and leaves them with warm fuzzies.
   Must have book.
Really like this book. It's a lot to love about it. There were many discussions with my five year old during the book.
   It’s a keeper
My youngest tore up the first copy of the book. We love this book so much that we will keep it around for our kids.
