Manga is awesome, but Kindle image resolution (on iPad) is low
The manga is great, however the resolution on this KINDLE - iPad - version is very low. When compared to the same issue on the VIZ MANGA ipad app, the KINDLE version is blurry when you tap twice. The Viz Manga version remains sharp on the zoom. I recommend buying if they offer a higher resolution of the Kindle version. Sorry, I am not a librarian.
A MUST READ FOR ALL MANGA FANS, ONE PIECE FANS, ANIME FANS... btw, I started watching one piece of anime before reading the manga... Then I decided to read the manga and get it. They are an amazing D.
I don't like OP but my friend does
I received this as a Christmas gift for my friend and he said he really enjoyed it. I don 't like One Piece so I can not tell you what is in this volume.
Beware the man with the wax
Volume 14 continues the story of Little Garden arc. The Giants are captive and Zoro, Vivi and Nami have been displaced by Mr. 3. It is up to Luffy to save them. I agree with the other review that most of Luffy's crew doesn 't do much in this volume. One of the highlights of Little Garden is that it creates a strong sense of danger and suspense that the series does not often generates. Usually, the poor guys are little more than annoying obstacles to Luffy's main goal. Here the danger feels real and with half the crew about to be suffocated in wax, you know that the time is running out. One of the most effective enemies in the series is Mr. 3. Once again, Usopp displays a glimpse of smartness that makes his battles so entertaining. And the Volume title Instinct refers to one of Luffy's best moments in the series. Then why did 4Kids skip it?
Another satisfying volume of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece is Eiichiro Oda's One Piece. This volume includes the story of Luffy's crew mostly facing Mr. 3 against Luffy. This is not the best volume of One Piece and doesn't involve the entire cast. Luffy is included in the last two sections and most of Sanji's crew have at best minor roles. If you enjoyed the previous volumes of this series, you will also enjoy this one.
   A battle for honor.
Eiichiro Oda, One Piece Instinct What do you do when you are locked in a century-long battle for honor with two giants who think you have sabotaged their fight? I 'll hold on tight and hope to survive. Unfortunately, the old nemeses of the crew show up for another match, adding another layer of danger to an already tenuous situation. This one's wonderfully inventive, even above Oda's normal standard of way-out-there.
