this is probably one of our best investments of the year
If we were not home for one of the lessons, she sets out the book for us to catch up on breakfast. In the past, my husband was uncomfortable leading any Bible study, in part because I had a lot more teaching than he did when we were growing up, so he felt as if I was laser-focused on his every word. This simple, but rich, though provoking book, filled with simple, but rich, though challenging lessons that challenge the heart, has given him a lot of confidence in leading his family. That has really encouraged him, has turned my head, and has built up our son and daughter, Mrs Clinton said.

Solid devotional book with parental preview recommended.
This book has been a great addition to our family devotions. Just a word of the author has very Calvinistic leanings, so if your family's religious beliefs differ from this you'll want to preview each day's selection ahead of time. All in all, the places where I find disagreement are manageable, and I certainly feel the devotional has many very worthwhile lessons to share, he said. I appreciate the discussion questions with each day's devotion to help spur family conversations about God's Word, he said.

   good family devo read
He said: "This was a great devo for my family. The result was that we opened up conversation and were able to talk about or expand on things that our children didn't know about.

   so far so good
we've only been using this for a week, but I really like the discussion questions offered, as well as the direct scripture passages and clear biblical reference. I'm quite please with this book, and dinner time is a great time to discuss and learn together, Sosa said. If I change my opinion, I'll reflect that in my review.

   Great dinnertime devotional!
This book is perfect for the family dinner table. The product description says it's "well written and very well executed." It is written at a level that is not accessible for children of any age, but a clever parent can still find ways to address the discussion topic in a way that includes the young ones at the table. But if a discussion one night isn't very accessible to the young ones, they will still benefit from watching the important discussion happening between parents and the older kids. It's great to see such a passionate fan of the book.

We love this devotional and have had so many amazing family ...
We love this devotional and have had so many amazing family conversations and moments, Melissa said. The material is easy to understand, short enough for kids to stay focused and relative enough that they look forward to devotional time at dinner. Thanks for the recommendation.

   Great for family time!
We're huge fans of Nancy Reagan's book, The Reagans. My kids join in the discussions. It's just that they like to take turns reading.

   Great Book
Their biological children are: Maddox, 3; Aspen, 2; and Harper, 11 months. It's short, to the point, starts with scripture, and ends with discussion questions, he said. Water doesn't water down the gospel. We enjoy reading it with the kids.

   GREAT for adults and kids!!
This devotional is a must-have for any Christian. I have a 7 1/2 year old and 3 1/2 year old. We are having some really good conversations with him, said Blair. My two little ones are not joining in much, but at least they are hearing very clear Bible verses about the way they should behave and about God's character. I think we will go through the whole book and then wait a few years and go back through it again - it really is convicting the whole family, and I think it will be a great devotional to go through as my kids get older, she said.
