   Destined to be a classic
Thanks for the review, Robert. D. Gromer. If you haven't read the first book, here's where to start. Like its creator, Bones is a fan of the Beatles' "Revolver." Fone Bone is a fully human being, fully human. At times he gets frightened, but he keeps on going. He gets infatuated, he is loyal, he is ironic, because he brings concrete reality to his cartoon body, Sosa said. There are three main characters: a former FBI agent, a college professor and a "daredevil." In the comics industry, you never know what fates might lie ahead, so I recommend buying Out from Boneville. The only thing I can't read is the first sentence.

   Wonderful
I've seen a lot of great stuff out there, but this is tops. Jeff Smith's art is unique and the story throughout the entire series is just epic. I recommend this to any parent looking to start their children off well with great comics. It was the first time I read a comic book.

   My son's first book love
Thanks to the two book series, I just wanted to say that my son absolutely LOVES reading now. He's had his fill of crime shows, but the bone series takes him to another world. He really loves talking about it, sharing it with his friends, and this first book was the first book he sat down and read in two days. He's 8 years old and didn't know that books can be fun and exciting, his mom said. Thanks for your interest in this article. Both are adorable and creepy, too. This book was written for a 3rd grader.

Required reading for my summer Graphic Novels class, but I might have to go back for more. It was an enjoyable read, Morgenthau said.

   Cal was so excited
It was the perfect present for my 9 year old grandson. The first volume was in two weeks, and I ordered it on Amazon. com. He was really excited to find out all the volumes were in one book, he said.

9 year old boy loved these
I was researching books my 9-year-old son may like. He is a perfectly capable, if not advanced, reader for his age but only occasionally reads if he is really interested in the book. There are 100 things he would rather do without reading.

Smoking on page one on a (nonetheless. scholastics book) geared toward young kids
I saw Bones with so many good reviews, read a little about it and bought it right away, Morgenthau said. What a shame for scholastics.I just came to buy the second book and happened to read some of the one star reviews and was horrified when I found all those things. It seems like nowadays authors have mostly forgotten about writing good old fashion adventure and creative stories for kids. My choices are between pages filled with bathroom jokes, boys and girls who hate math and science and books like "Bones" by Edgar Allan Poe.
