   Beautifully written
This book is by far the best-selling work of fiction. Buy the entire set of Over and Under rainforest albums here. I started with the rainforest book for my son and he fell in love right away, same goes for the pond. The illustrations are so beautiful, the words flow so smoothly. At the end of each book you'll find 5 pages of information about each of the six. That was pretty cool, too, said Blair. My son will look at the back of the book and try to find the animals. Great for ages 2.5 and up.

   Soothing Illustrations and Informative Text
We've read this one several times, and each time I'm struck by the simplicity of the way different animals and their behavior are described and the peaceful experience that it is reading this book.

   Really Great Book
We got this book for the week while we learned about different water systems, and to be honest, I was worried my kids would find it boring, but they did. I recommend this book to anyone. It's one of their favorites bedtime stories.

Beautifully written and lots of great creatures for children to learn about.
I've had so many wonderful experiences reading this book, and I love it as much as my son does. It has a lot of great information about the many creatures that love to swim in ponds. It was so much fun to actually see most of the pond animals in person, said Blair. The pictures are great and the story flows nicely as it takes about the pond animals, Tunick said. It ends at night so it's a great bedtime story.

   Just ok.
It's a very short read, and I recommend that you read it before you get carried away. Young children, I suspect, would enjoy the music. Not much.

   Beautiful illustrations and wonderful content
The book was purchased as part of our freshwater learning unit. I am so happy with it, Taylor said. The illustrations are gorgeous - my 3 year old said it looks like we are in the trees! The photo above shows Dr. Goin looking at one of the pages. The fact is, the story is well told with the flow of the news. Very accessible book for kids to enjoy. I am delighted that it will be part of the collection at Carnegie Library.

Over the pond, the water is a mirror, reflecting the sky
Television images could not be loaded. In "Over and Under the Pond," we follow a young boy and his mom as they row over the pond. They talk about underwater life and explore the water, and it's unique ecosystem. This is an awesome children's book that teaches about the environment and about life in the pond, Sosa said. It is very well written and contains extensive vocabulary, including names of many different species of birds. The illustrations are also very attractive, the color palette is very inviting. Things that caught my eye _ would recommend for ages 3-8 _ Gorgeous illustrations _ The story line promotes care for nature and the environment _ Small in the back, a black encyclopedia, contains information on the animals mentioned in the book.

I'm still just so blown away by the illustrations.
Only in the past few weeks have ratings climbed to 4.75. Even though I'm not an illustrator, I can still see the light at the end of the tunnel. The boys were wonderful, Ms. Caramore said. It would be great to have them framed and hung on a wall, Mr. Bazzi said. I just got the gist of the story. All about observation and learning about the world around us, Sosa said. And, boy, is it cute. Just about everything about the cartoon made me want to throw away the whole thing, Mr. D'Antonio said. I'm not a huge fan of Gillian, but I found the book very calming the second time around. I will come back to this after a stressful day, Mr. Caramore said. Even though I'm not an expert, I have shared some of it with the children I work with. Pauley, who stars in a revival of the play, said: "I've had a lot of lovely books. I must have read all the books. Young readers will find this book attractive to nature lovers and curious kids alike.

   Beautiful and calm book!
Slow and rhythmic, this book is a delight to read. We love to read it before bed and especially love the fact that the animals are mentioned in the end. Beautifully illustrated by Frank Quattrone, "The Princess Diaries" will set a new standard for children's fiction. My kids love to point at the little boy in the canoe.

   Educational
I've read the Over and Under the Snow book by the same author, so I picked this up as well. In "The Water's Edge," a mother and son canoe on a pond. I was very pleased to see the diversity of the group, said Jackie Burrell, executive director of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. The book shows what is going on above and under the water of the pond, including things I never knew about. I am very pleased to own it, said Ragin.
