   Great Book
Very cute book, Mr. D'Antonio said. It's just that I always buy books for birthdays instead of cards. It was a present from my daughter's birthday that really made me think about owls. I was a little worried that the reading level might be too low because it is listed as a Level 1, but it worked perfectly! Great customer service, said Burt Flickinger of Burt's Bees.

Perfect for a young pre-reader who loves books
This book was purchased as a present for a 4-year-old girl who has recently expressed an interest in owls. This book has just the right number of pages for a young pre-reader who loves book, and the photos are large and colorful, too, making it a great addition to any classroom.

   Owl books
Broomhead's book is "Owl's Eye View of the World's Most Wanted." I purchased 3 owl books, different levels of use with my grandchildren when we dissect the pellets. Broomhead said the pellets were used in the classroom with students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Get old.

   Doesn’t mention pellets
This is a good book, but I wish it had mentioned all about owl pellets. I bought it with our pallets as part of a lesson and it didn't even mention them once.

   Short but Sweet
My daughter is obsessed with owls, and we are making it the primary unit in our homeschooling this year. This book, while short enough to be a pamphlet, is a great introduction to the subject. In addition, we learned about owls by practicing recognizing sight words. I want to move on to a book more suited for older kids, since there are only so many times a grown-up can read the same 30 pages. It has a special place in the one drawer of our living room.

Great book but a big level jump between pre-reader and level 1
Nat Geo has a HUGE jump in the expected reading skill level between Pre-Reader level and level 1,” said Robert Heintz, Nat Geo's executive vice president. My beginning reader doesn't have the patience to conquer this book, but she can chug through several of the pre-reader levels. I'm a huge fan of the show, and I think that Siobhan was right. Great animal facts, great pictures, lots of learning, Mr. D'Antonio said.

   Wonderful book for owl lovers
This is a Christmas present for my son. He also told us he's a big owl fan. Good value, too, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   Learn About Owls
My daughter has been fascinated by owls for the past 4 months. This book was perfect for her to learn more about owls and other animals. It has been easy to work slowly our way up- at first I just had her find and point to the owls, now we actually read the book and talk about owl facts. It is very basic compared with the other books in the series. I have had to up my animal game since having a child and these books have been essential to brushing up on animal facts and learning some I never knew! Six have since been ordered and my daughter has loved them all.
