I haven't read the story, but the toddler loves how much there is to look at. He is very into putting names to things and he is just starting to say words. We've had this book for 3 weeks and I'm still looking for flaps. $6 is a good price for entertainment.

Great book for toddlers
Derived From Web , Jun 17, 2021
It didn't convince her to go to the bathroom, probably we tried too early, but she absolutely loves the book. She loves Elmo and the flaps. She reads this with me many times because she knows all the names and things she knows.

My Toddler, the Elmo Fan
Derived From Web , May 21, 2021
The kids are busy and entertained by the many items to flip on each page. I got it for my pre-potty-trained toddler to start potty training, and he loves getting involved in each page, even though he isn't interested in the story. There is so much to discuss. The colors are bright. Maybe my guy is too young, but he is not interested in the story. Although the pages are cardboard, the areas to flip are flimsy paper.

Great story
Derived From Web , May 19, 2021
The book talks about underwear, pull ups, and diapers. It includes an accident on the way to the bathroom. The book's flaps are not very sturdy and can be bent when opened the first time, so it's a good idea for adults to open all of them. The odd shaped flaps increase the chance of bending.

Great book for ready at anytime and toilet training and awareness.
Derived From Web , Sep 25, 2020
My daughter loves this book. She reads this all the time because it's a colorful and interactive book, and she can either be toilet training or not. This is a great introduction book to anyone who is going to be toilet trained.

Pretty crappy for a potty book
Derived From Web , Aug 25, 2020
This board book really missed the mark, but I call it a book snob. The story is stupid. It doesn't make use of the characters from Sesame Street and is not engaging. Swing and miss on that part. There are illustrations. My main complaint. It takes over 30 to lift the flaps. The cover is promising. Okay. When you lift the flap, you're supposed to see a picture underneath that furthers the story, that gives a little surprise, that at the very least catches a young child's eye. This is the biggest failure of the book. The flaps are not very good. If you lift the flap over the lamp in Elmo's room, you will see the same position, with a yellow sign on the lamp. Wow. Elmo's hand is on the toilet handle. Lift the flap and you can see that his hand is moving, indicating he's flushed the toilet. My child doesn't understand it. I'm an educated woman, and I barely understand it. If your kid likes lift-a-flap books, look elsewhere.

Great story, flimsy flaps
Derived From Web , Aug 10, 2020
My 2yo boy loves this book and asks to read it all the time. I can tell he listens to the lessons in the book. Half of the flaps have been torn off, they are very thin. There are still some flaps left in the book.

Flaps too hard to lift for a 2 year old.
Derived From Web , May 21, 2020
For a 2 year old, the story line is a little complicated. The flaps are hard to lift and frustrating for a 2 year old who is trying to flip all the flaps. They show a diaper and a potty. I wish I had not bought this book.

Cute and interesting book
Derived From Web , May 6, 2020
A great book for potty training. My toddler is enjoying the book as we go through it. She likes lifting the flaps and talking about the book. I don't really read the words. We have already lost a few of the flimsy flaps.

Lots of fun flaps.
Derived From Web , Mar 21, 2020
My toddler loves reading about Elmo and his cousins. Albie is toilet training and Jo-Jo wears diaper. The book has a lot of flaps. Even though we read it daily, my toddler doesn't want to use the potty.
