Book Overview

Paint by Sticker: Travel celebrates a time when elegant posters, in an Art Deco style, beckoned visitors to faraway romantic places--from Venice, with its canals and gondolas, to Cairo, gateway to the pyramids--all through the absorbing activity of painting by sticker.

Paint by Sticker is a compelling new activity for crafters and artists, doodlers and coloring book enthusiasts of all ages. As in paint-by-number, each template is divided into dozens of spaces, each with a number that corresponds to a particular sticker. Find the sticker, peel it, place it. And then the next, and the next, and the next, until your poster comes to life.

Paint by Sticker: Travel includes everything you need to create twelve vibrant, nostalgic travel posters--the stickers, the templates, the intuitive directions. The works include Moscow, home of St. Basil's Cathedral and its candy-colored onion domes. India and the Taj Mahal, crown jewel in a world of fascinating destinations. Bermuda. Monaco. Japan and its cherry blossoms and pagodas.

Bon voyage

   Fun concept but defective product!!!
This book contains twelve posters of places around the world. Imagine my surprise when there were no corresponding stickers for the 7th and 8th posters after completion of the first eight posters and instead there were two sets of stickers for the 9th and 10th posters. Obviously Amazon offered a replacement, but after finishing the first 8 posters, it really wouldn t have the same novelty to have to do them again. For a refund, I now have to go and physically return the product, which seems to be a little unfair for what is a manufacturing defect completely out of my control. Just a warning to first flip through all the pages before beginning to ensure that you are not left feeling discontented.

   A win!
I got this for a teen client who has ADHD. He loves it! He loves it! It helps him concentrate on a task and stay focused. As well, beautiful pieces are being created!

   Finally an alternative to puzzles!
I have no talent for jigsaw puzzles, crafts, knitting, painting and drawing and was looking for something similar to do at home. My jam is paint by Sticker! The stickers are organized well by letter and number. The final result looks nice. It is easy to clear a table or a desk when you need it tuck away. Of all, I find it truly relaxing. I do use tweezers to lift and place the stickers, but don 't let that seem intimidating. I am a Klutz who does not position the stickers perfectly, but the overall effect looks just fine. I bought the book Travel Posters and love it.

   Great gift.
Bonobos bought it for a gift. The recipient was very happy as they had fun with other versions of the sticker books. Travel - posters are a good theme.

Stickers too big for the spaces!!
I have the Music Icons version of this and it's amazing! I also got this version, but was so disappointed that the stickers are larger than the spaces provided for them! It makes it more frustrating than relaxing. I may return this item.

   Not a favorite of mine...
This sticker by number was more enjoyable to work on than frustrating, and on half of all the pages the stickers did not fit in their designated spaces well. This is not my preferred brand, and seems to be lower in quality, as well as not having very appealing images. The stickers easily tear, some were incorrectly numbered, and overall, I am less likely to purchase more sticker by number books by this brand.

so I know I enjoy doing "Paint by Sticker
I'm working on pictures in another book of this series, so I know that I enjoy painting Sticker with paint. However, stickers are not removable, you have to be careful. I'm a little nervous about this one I just received, the vintage travel posters. Has a lot of very little pieces together. I learned that the fewer times you handle and reposition the stickers the better. The maximum is 3 lifts and put back down before edges start looking bad. The rectangles can be hard to tell which direction to place them down. Suggestion use tracing paper to add the space where you want to trace the next sticker. Lay the tracing over the appropriate numbered sticker before taking it off the backing. When done, you will be able to tell which way to position it on the picture and how best to lay it on the picture to fill the space before you make a mistake.

   Love it
I absolutely love this book ''. Im obsessed with stickers and this is a great way to play with them. I recommend using a pair of tweezers and not your fingers to apply the stickers.
