Helps with understanding and naming animals!

My now two year old son has enjoyed the... what do you see books since he was about 9 months old. They have helped him with identifying and naming animals, and the repetition and rhythm of the book helps him anticipate what is next and he gets excited. This book also helped with learning action words that we sometimes act out to increase his vocabulary and add a little more fun to reading. Highly recommended! Highly recommended! ''

My daughter loves this book
Derived From Web , Apr 20, 2022
I love that the animals take 2 pages per page, so that you have only one animal per page. I love the bright colors and the fact that the book is a board book. It is very easy for my daughter to rip books with normal pages and the floppy books are too floppy, so that we can only get enough of Eric Carle's board books for now.

Great children's book!

Such a great book! If your child enjoys Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?, then I recommend this as well. The slide and see feature is so much fun for my daughter and she just loves this series of the books. We read both of them over and over again! We read both of them over and over!!

Love the book, but maybe some quality control is needed.
Derived From Web , Aug 9, 2020
This is not a review about the story or the images of this book. This is a review of the construction and the lack of quality control. The book cover is installed backwards, so when you flip the first page, what you actually see is the last page upside down. I'm trying to decide if it is worth my time to return and buy another or attempt to separate the cover and glue it back. Very disappointing.

Poorly constructed but beautiful book
Derived From Web , May 6, 2020
I want to give this a better review as an adult : I love the concept and the artwork, and I love the concept. But the pieces you slide are difficult for my 15-month old son, and after a month the binding falls apart. The original is the same with the same. In about three months, the book fell completely apart. The book fell apart completely in about three months. This is a beautiful book which is very poorly built.

Super cute story and art. I used the original brown bear version on this when I was little, so I bought this book for my daughter and I'm happy.

Family-favorite
Derived From Web , Jan 8, 2020
My one-year-old daughter absolutely loved Brown Bear and wore it out dozens of times per day. When we found this sequel, we bought it for her and she loves it just as much. It might not last the year, but that is only because of how much she carries it with her around the house.

This is a GREAT BOOK!!!! The board pages are very thick and strong. The colors are unusual and the illustrations are bright. The sliders work great and there is enough here to keep my toddler entertained. Absolutely worth every penny!

A must have, kids love this book
Derived From Web , Mar 23, 2019
I have always been a fan of Eric Carle books, and this was no exception : we have the whole series! My son's favorite is Brown Bear, but likes a lot of this. Like the others, this book is interactive and rhythmic. You can introduce the names of the animals and the sounds they make. Children easily learn colors, what sounds each animal makes and even counting how many characters are in the book. The illustrations are so bright and eye-catching, the colors are strong, the pages are sturdy and the story holds their attention. The book ends with a summary of all the children have seen. The hard cover book is easy to hold and very durable.
