The pictures are cute and show many of the landmarks we are studying. The story was engaging and my son enjoyed it. One thing I loved about it was that it is full of wonderfully chosen words! Kids who are read tend to have larger vocabularies, and this book is full of beautiful words that paint interesting pictures. Since then, words such as chaos, boundless, embraced, breach, barbarism, flinch, adored, Curs, unanimous, unprecedented, scrounged, heroism, commotion, valor, tumult, boundless.
