Great Insight into a Great Man
As a new Christian it is the story of Paul that ended up being the keystone connecting all the dots for me. I began looking for more information about that man, that apostle, and when I found A man of grace and grace, I had no idea what to expect. Charles Swindoll gave some incredible insight, by sticking only what history knows as fact about Paul and intertwining the story of his life, from rabid prosecution of Christ's former followers to devoted bondservant of the Lord. I love this book, which just came to me at the right time. All of this is accomplished by God's grace.

   A Must-Read Biography
This book not only follows Paul's life, but also provides application from his life. The author uses Paul's life, as shown by Scripture to provide timeless truths for our lives. I wish I could have heard the sermons because this is how God intended to teach His Word. Since I could not, I feel blessed that I could receive this teaching in book form. I hope that you are also blessed when you read this book.

   So informative!
Paul first appearing in the New Testament as a violent enemy of Christ, but later went on to write thirteen letters of the New Testament in the midst of being beaten, shipwrecked, snakebitten, imprisoned and displaced from the city. Let Charles Swindoll be your guide as you travel with Paul along the road to Damascus and discover the passion for Jesus that drove this hero of faith.

   Fantastic book about Paul
A fantastic book about Paul. I taught myself a lot and used it as a resource to teach a course at the Church about his life.

   Thought you knew St Paul?
You knew this saint though. I read as well until I did this book to read. When it comes to bringing faith into play in a person's life, Swindoll has very few peers. Easy to read, enjoyable to savor, a must read if you are having difficulties in your life.

   The Man He Became
The book portrays Paul as the man he became and the man he was after he was touched and changed by God's grace. As you travel through Paul's life, you see a man who loved God above all others and who wanted to know not only the love and grace that had been shown to him that day on the road to Damascus, but also the one who touched and changed his life forever.

   The Christian Example
How beautiful is life! For a short time, God was without sin with us in a fairly compact area. Paul was an earthly being, sinful, transformed from one extreme to another. Paul interpreted the word, shared it, multiplied it and helped start the spread of it to all nations. There is no comparison between Christ and the Holy Spirit in the missionary field. Be Well Done, Fellow faithful Servitor!

   A must read.
My pastor recommended this book to Apostle Paul. I enjoyed this book thoroughly ''. Charles Swindoll makes Paul's life and ministry alive. He leads us to work and examine our own lives. Swindoll's style is easy to read, but brings us closer to who and what was Paul.
