   This book is fantastic and has been integral in lowering my stress
That kid is really good, Tunick said. Note the underlined rating: "A must read, must practice." Through pictures and writing, she teaches the ancient practice of yoga. It was a total surprise to me how quickly the book resonated with people who had followed the resources for just one day. You can't go wrong with the Paleo Diet, it has been phenomenal for me in the current season of stress that I am in! Please help!

   A Fresh, Welcome Voice
In her introductory video, Octavia Raheem tells us that the practice of yoga is designed to restore us to the Self. By revealing glimpses into her own practice and journey, we are encouraged to embark or stay on our own. This volume of pregnant guidance is slim compared with the volume of Lamas's "The Whole Nine Yards" which deals with Abraham's death.

Once again, the author has shared her gifts, talents, wisdom and heart with us — encouraging us to be courageous in the face of change. She shares much needed teachings, reflections and practices for prioritizing stillness. Octavia's light shines!

   The book I needed for right now!
We often feel as if we are being guided through this moment by a sacred guidebook. The book is a call to courage in times of change. The book shows how we can take time out of work to rest, he said. And, although we're not exactly healed, gives us markers to feel for as we navigate turbulent times like the ones we are in right now. I'm not even half way through reading it. This is one of the best books I have ever read.

It could not have come at a better time for us all, he said. If you have forgotten how to pause, how to rest or how to just use this book to help you remember, this is for you. I love Octavia's writing style like she is sitting next to you telling you a story or a balm that your soul needs to hear, Raymond said. This is how we move forward, he said. If you want to read the whole book cover to cover or just randomly open a page there is something that will lead you deeper into your meditation, your healing or your yoga journey.

   Rest is revolutionary
In times of uncertainty, Octavia's words compel us to build our ark. To witness and feel all that comes with endings, beginnings and the space between, Raymond said. He invited us to examine who we were before others told us who we should be. Even when we may not have physically moved or done anything at all, we experience a journey. You don't have to be "into yoga" to appreciate the wisdom available through practices of stillness and rest, the book says.

   Be prepared to face yourself (and get over yourself!)
Pause. Rest. Be allowed me to show up for myself in ways I had forgotten to do so. The embedded yoga poses, the text says, "brought me to my knees." If you are seeking transformation or going through it already, please order this book. Reflecting on this quote, I can't help but think, "If you can't face your suffering and pain in a real way," can you fully experience the depth of joy? Blessings are abundant in that one, too.
