   Did you know Narwhals are real, have a long life span, and live in the Arctic under the ice?
My grandkid is about to start 2nd grade, is a picky eater, has loved all the books in this series, and the rest of the books in this series. When she was reading out loud to me, she had tried a new food, peanut butter, and it was great! Thanks to reading this book, she has started to at least taste a tiny bit of the foods she has refused to eat. I let her pick out a t-shirt from some on sale, and she picked out one with Narwhal on it! She loves narwhals, because of this book series which is easy enough for her to read by herself.

Sorry, I didn't care for this book. A lot of a comic book, but the drawing and words look like it was done by a 5 year old. Grandson initially thought it was okay, the doctor said.

   Cute Story
Like the "X-Files" movies, this book is styled like a comic book of sorts. Two 5 year olds really liked it over and over again. The boys were having a good time, even if they were outnumbered by 20. The boy told his mom what he thought the story line was. It's great for nursery-aged children, too.

I and my 8 year old daughter love them both. She has all four of the books out so far, and they are all great, too, she said. Funny, charming, and I'm 32. My daughter, who has a very good reading habit, fell in love with these books.

   Great beginners chapter books
My daughter has fallen in love with these books, and this one didn't disappoint. She loves to read, but sometimes loses interest in chapter books because it takes too long to get to the end. Series like "Narwhal and Jelly" help bridge the gap between the two - having lots of pictures and more dialogue helps her to feel confident that she can get through a chapter book. We've moved on to longer books, like Stick Dog, but she still loves rereading Narwhal and Jelly books.

   Really fun books ! My 6 year old can't get enough of them
The second book, "The Magic Flute," follows the story of a narwhal and a jellyfish. Mostly just silly humor but also with some real animal facts thrown in for good measure. Recommend them to your friends.

My 7 yo daughter absolutely loves the books. We have a couple of others and I know that my daughter will be excited to advertise this to her collection. Norwal and his friend are simply too silly, sweet, funny and easily loved. Even if they were not related, I think any child that ages 4 to 8 will fall in love with Norwal.
