Just asking your child Where is Bruce now? '' will have them running to this little book. Bruce does not want to play with the Goslings, but the Goslings continue to find him and eventually run him. Bruce continues to hide from them until they all fall asleep. Together with the Goslings, children will have fun finding Bruce Bear.

Ten month old loves this book!

My ten month old son loves this book so much and I read it to him. He laughs with glee when he spots it on the shelf and we read it over and over again and he cackles on each page. He seems to love the grumpy bear and he points on every page at the bear. I never knew that he would love a book so much at this age, and I am so happy that he loves reading this book so much! I am just sad that this is the only board book in the series, because I would buy all of them right now if they were available in board book versions!

The premise is, however, that Bruce wants to be alone and we find him. We follow him and he looks annoyed and grumpy the whole time. I prefer books that are both good and have cute lessons. This one has to come each time with a disclaimer. ( cf.

My child loved this book so much! Having already read the Grumpy Bruce, he figured he would like this one. I was not expecting him to howl and go through the entire way, as we read it for weeks! As long as the child gets pleasure from it, a book is worth every penny.

i buy a lot of books for my great grandsons and i have to admit that this is a great book for both my 1 year old and my 2 year old. They both have a copy because they LOVE the anticipation of finding Bruce and knowing that he will be where he is when you turn the page. The book has such deep, rich colors that it is visually pleasurable. Emily and Bruce the bear is adorable with his variety of facial expressions and body language. The book also offers the opportunity to learn prepositions. My one year old grandson has been reading this book to himself for several months now and is delighted that every time he finds Bruce. My 2 year old grandson recites to himself the entire book. Most of the time, both boys want to be written, but this is a book they track down so that they can go down and read while no one is able to sit with them to read.
