Fun read for all!

I bought this book for my 20-month-old daughter, who has recently started biting her classmates at daycare out of anger when she takes her toys or food. It holds her interest better than the book Teeth is not for biting. The only downside for us is that there is not a board book version. My daughter is a really hands-on reader and is rough on the pages.

I was super excited about this book ''. My 2 year old has been biting at daycare a lot. I bought a different book first and we saw GREAT results with the other book after only one day. This book was great and had great illustrations, but it was SOOOOO long and couldn t hold her attention. In my opinion, a lot of the wording was also a little too old for children under 4. I must add that my daughter tried biting our dog as well as my husband, what she had NEVER done before, immediately after reading this book. This book went straight into the trash...

This book helped us absolutely stop our 2 year old habit of biting us or ourselves when frustrated. This book recommends 100%. I would skip reading the first page, however, because it confused my kid the first time we read it so after we ended the book a page early and it was perfection!

My 18 month old was biting about 2-3 times a week. We read many times during the week this book loves and she loves it! When she gets angry, she says, people don 't shake people while she bites her finger. That is how I know that the message got through to her. 2 Moths after my purchase and consistent reading and using the phrases in the book and we no longer have a biter!

My son loves this book and asks daily for it to be read. The rhymes are playful and the art is cute, the art is catchy. The message is great, for example, “ puppies bite and babies bite, they’re much too young to know, but grow bigger every day and know where teeth should go,†it has not yet stopped a biting problem, but it is a great addition to our day.

It is clever, funny and so catchy. It is not too long or too short, and the illustrations are beautiful and so funny! Our 2.5 year old started biting her best friend randomly when she was frustrated, so I panic ordered this book. She now asks for it by name every night, and sometimes I hear her chanting the book's chorus while playing... People don 't bite people! '' Biting is for food. One happy mama over here. Thank you to the author and the artists!

Awesome book to remind kids not to bite

I am a pre-school teacher and it is really hard to find books on biting that are fun and entertaining for 18 to 24 month old, when I saw this book, I thought the title was fun and I was hoping the story would be as well. I am so glad I did because when I read it was definitely funny and amusing, I know what books my students are into and this one they will love. I actually take it to work tomorrow, I will update you on how it goes. But from writing it is a cute book for any child.
