All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Krono's army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan's power only grows. While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time.
In this epic finale to the New York Times best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy's sixteenth birthday unfolds. And as the battle for Western civilization rages on the streets of Manhattan, Percy faces a terrifying suspicion that he may be fighting against his own fate. Relive the showdown in this all-new graphic novel adaptation.

   Nice ending to the series
The first four books led to this. I imagined how things would get worse. The gods were fighting a monster in the Midwest that had almost defeated them before. The sea Titan Oceanus was the cause of the loss of the war. There was still someone named Kronos out there. It was almost undefended. The spies of Camp Half- Blood were on their own. Battles, surprises, humor, jubilation, fallen heroes, action, romance - everything one would expect from a series conclusion is within. Fantasy and mythology are familiar to many fantasy books. I want to go back to the original myths to learn more.

   Is it the best?????
I do not know. It was just a lot of battling and parts of it were great. The Underworld stuff, the way the prophecy tied together, Hestia, and going to Poseidon's palace were some of the cool parts. The red herring love interests were so annoying that they reached a point in the series where they were intolerable. The way deaths were handled was off- putting and strange, and some of the characters seemed to be forced too much into their own stereotype. There is a 5 star series composed of 4 star books.

Reveiw on " The Last Olympian"
The Little House on the Prairie is terrible. It was a disgrace to the books, show, movies, and Laura Ingalls. I don't like when people disgrace Little House like it's some weird thing that should not be taken seriously because the people do different things, speak differently, anduct themselves differently. I only gave this book 3 out of 5 because of one comment.

   Great ending
The series ended in a wonderful way. He has come a long way since learning he was the son of the sea god. Annabeth Chase is my favorite character in the series. There are five books of battles and troubles. I was praying for a good outcome for her. Their story continues in the Olympian series, but I was happy with how this book ended. I don't like writing reviews because I'm afraid to give away the story. The journey through a book is the best part because you don't know how it will end. Rick Riordan has created a wonderful world and I think everyone should read this book.

   Must have!!!
This book was wonderful. I couldn't hold it down. Next to the labyrinth and the lightning thief, this book is my favorite. It had everything I wanted. I cried and even cheered. It was a wonderful way to end the series. There was a hint at a new series in the future. Can't wait to start the next part.

   Great Book
This book is amazing! This book gives me a modern take on Greek mythology, which is something I have always loved. The characters are very likable. The whole series would be recommended by me. This book had an amazing ending that made me want to read more, luckily there is another series that takes place after this with the same characters. This book is great for ages 10 and up and anyone who wants to read a great book. This is one of the best books I have read.

   Action-packed with awesomeness
This book was very good. It might be my favorite of the series. From the start, it gets to business. The fight is on. The half- bloods must defend Camp Half- Blood and the city of Manhattan, while the gods take their own stand and leave Olympus defenseless. I' ve been waiting for the true leader of the series to be seen in this book, as Percy has to face some serious obstacles. Even though the odds are against him, he leads his army against Kronos. Annabeth is always by his side and a great companion. In this book, you learn about Anabeth and what led her to do what she did. The book was great.
