This book will shine new light on your journey, ignite your practice with new power, inspire new possibilities for growth, and infuse your life with the grace and confidence you seek. --Baron Baptiste

A little over a decade ago, Baron Baptiste published his seminal book, Journey into Power. The first of its kind, it introduced the world to Baptiste Yoga, his signature method that marries a lifetime of studying with some of the world's most renowned yoga masters with his uniquely powerful approach to inner and outer transformation. Since then, yoga has steadily moved into the mainstream in our culture, and Baron's unique contribution has played a key role.

As millions of participants incorporate yoga into their daily lives, Baron's teachings have evolved to bring them even deeper into their own transformative possibilities. Perfectly Imperfect: The Art and Soul of Yoga Practice takes readers beyond the foundations of the practice by speaking to everything that happens in their bodies and minds after they get into a yoga pose. That is where the true transformation occurs, and where much rich spiritual and emotional growth is available. Readers will learn how to move through their lives with grace and flow, begin again Read More chevron_right

   It's a really beautiful book - a journey into Baron's approach to yoga ...
It is a really beautiful book a journey into Baron's approach to yoga and life. There is so much out there about technique and teaching styles, and it is refreshing to have a guide on how to apply yoga philosophy to life. Isn 't that why we practice on the mat? So, we can live a more fulfilling life off the mat. Also, the Apple App Store has a really cool companion app to book search for Baptiste '' sessions that include videos and journaling exercises to help integrate the teachings from the book into every day life. Totally cool and really worthwhile.

Poking and Prodding in True Baron Style!
Perfectly Imperfect is an important reminder to those of us who have practiced yoga for years. He makes you look at HOW you approach and experience your poses and then challenges you to peel away the layers that keep you from being AUTHENTICALLY YOU. Newer yogis who come across this book will be lucky to receive this sound advice from the beginning. On the Verge Wake Up, Show Up and Shine.

   This is my second book
I love this book so much that I gave my original dog-ear copy to a friend of mine and ordered another. Baron gives a wonderful insight into life on and off the mat. This is definitely a self-help book for people like me that avoid most self-help books like Covid.

   Fabulous
This book has been absorbed by my body and my subconscious. Occasionally during the last month, including today, I found myself thanking Baron on the mat during my practice, the thanks thought bursting into my mind.

   Mindful yoga
It is more important during yoga to be mindful of perfection than to be perfect. Really enjoyed the step by step directions in how to be mindful on the mat.

   Decent
It is an okay book, but didn 't capture my attention very much, so I had to force myself to keep reading it at times.

Very interesting, but heavy in the Self - Help - Department. Definitely gonna check out a few more of his books.
