Giving it 2-stars for its frustrating to have to check the answers in the back of the book because some are clearly incorrect. Shame on the editors for not catching their homework and not doing them.

Great variety, fun for the family!
Derived From Web , Apr 3, 2020
This book has a great variety of puzzles and activities crossword, Sudoku, logic puzzles, find the pattern, decoding etc. The pages are of good quality and colorful, not cheaply made. My 6 year old is thoroughly enjoying this. My 6 year old '' is thoroughly enjoying it. He definitely needs help with some of these problems, so that it is a great family activity for us. Some of the puzzles even puzzled the parents my husband and I often find ourselves engrossed in trying to solve some of the brain teasers, the most difficult puzzles at the end of each chapter. I'm afraid that once we finish this, it will be hard to find other books to match this one! Love that it keeps us away from the screen for hours!

Errors Bring This Down
Derived From Web , Oct 21, 2019
This is a funny book with much to offer, but occasionally missteps make it frustrating in the clues. So far we have found errors on 22 p. 36 and Page 39's Lessons leave two open possibilities without giving any indication of the correct answer. I wish the editing had been more thorough ''. It still teaches great logical habits and thought processes, but the errors are a niggling.

Good Option
Derived From Web , Oct 15, 2019
Fun puzzles-great for kids or adults trying to develop cognitive ability-colored varietyCons-a few puzzles that are incorrect or don 't have enough information to properly solve it. One of the crosswords is so outdated there is no way a kid today would know the answers. I am 31 and don 't know the answers because of the old fairy tales.

I bought this for my homeschooler as an optional thing, but kind of did it myself. If he decides he wants to, I might get another if there isn 't one left, but at the moment I kinda took over.

Errors found in logic puzzle
Derived From Web , Sep 13, 2019
We received perfectly logical and the 1st logic puzzle we completed has errors. Disappointing as I was doing this with my 8 year old and she could not understand why the answers were incorrect based on the info given. Carnival Pg 38 at the Carnival. The answers for the favorite ride for Mariana and Julia are changed based on the clue 5. Based on clue 6, it says Daniel wanted something hot either soft pretzel and corn dog are left, both of which can be hot. There is no way to determine which it should be. I expected this would have been clearer with a book geared for children.

Not very interesting

This book was quite dull and not what I expected or hoping for. I was excited to use it with some of my higher level learners, but it wasn 't challenging enough. I have returned it.
