Informative and entertaining, Mr. D'Antonio said. Contains so much practical and relevant information that everyone needs to know, written so that everyone can understand! I read this book several years ago, and recently purchased an updated version for each of my adult sons, plus an After50 edition for myself. It may be useful to refer to this book when a financial question arises. Absolutely the best personal finance reference I've read, and there are several. Eric Tyson brings it down to a practical level - information you can really use, from buying a house to understanding insurance for retirement, and more. Now I understand why people get upset.

Didn't know how much I didn't know
Derived From Web , May 17, 2018
It's a life changer, Christina said. I'm an educated man, but I didn't study business. Indeed, according to the authors, personal finance is not taught in most standard schools. Therefor this book contains a lot of must-know things that most people, I assume, just never had an opportunity to learn, he said. Now I feel like making all my friends and family read it, too.

Part of book is related to US for example how to save tax in US. It was mostly a case of me not knowing how to do something in the US as I'm from India. However, there are many concepts which could be applied to any industry. i did not find it very useful for me, nan

Excellent way to take control of your financial life
Derived From Web , Dec 9, 2017
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. In my 20s, I was taken advantage of by other people who only had their own interests in mind, he said. The book has helped me understand everything I needed to take control of my own finances and be successful. 20 years later, I could retire at 50.

I would never have known about retirement planning, budgeting, and even investing, Mr. Rule told me. There are some great lines, but I'm not a dry read as there are some witty asides. Just bought the homebuyers kit from tyson and so far packed with so much kuch info.

Impressive to a Business Major and Super Helpful!
Derived From Web , Sep 1, 2017
I'm only on page 136 but I'm blown away by how much information this author has covered in such a detail, said Dr. Goin. I am a finance major and thought this book would be a little redundant, but i'm now thinking, Here is everything that I wish I learned in Business School about my personal finances! I highly recommend this book. Thanks for the introduction, Dave. Thanks for that, Lord.
