   Pete teaches about sharing
The thing I like most about the P books is the way older kids can read them for themselves and adults can read them to smaller children, he said. The lessons, which were taught to children between 2 and 6, are relevant to any child today. The lesson is about sharing with friends, said Dr. Steve Heine, who teaches at the University of Michigan. Pete builds a sandwich that is too big for him to eat alone, so his solution is to invite his friends over for lunch. Anyone familiar with the P a C series will find this plot line to be familiar. Even if you think about it, the fact is, any child can relate to lunch. This is better than Pete Plays Ball because that has concepts that are not familiar to every child.

Gave these as gifts, was not disappointed.
My daughter absolutely loved them, and I gave them to her preschool class as a present. The boys absolutely love Pete the Cat and you could not beat this price for six books. The kids bring them to class and want to read them every day. That said, I still believe that we have enough dumb people in America that we need to read and learn more. If you love reading, give books as gifts to EVERYONE! No matter what your kid is, he or she will love to read. He also suggests that children read with emphasis and a silly voice to the old people that can't see anymore.

   Pete the Cat
Pete's reviews have been written by previous owners of the business. They are great, my granddaughters like them, more importantly, my daughter-in-law likes them. What a great team! Call it: The Beatles.

   Cat book
She has read the book and said she will never complain. It's great to see the children's faces light up when they hear the news. It was ordered many months ago, perhaps out of stock, but it arrived in time for the holidays, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

Good lessons for all of us
Pete shares his wealth with all his friends and family. Good luck with that. Grandkids love to hear them over and over and over.

The most adorable story & 3-year-old toddler NOW READING!!!!
It's just that she keeps asking to read it over and over again. This story is so simple, even the most difficult readers can do it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this story.

Meh. No song. Not fun like the original books.
No song has been banned from the book. It wasn't for my students. Look up the author of the original books, Eric Litwin, for more fun books.

It's not War and Peace but...
My kid absolutely loves Pete the Cat. I'm a big fan of James Dean, but I prefer his movies. Still, he offers a nice balance of simplistic grammar and syntax without coming off too synthetic. After reading Pete's Big Lunch, my toddler and I both learned that sharing is cool. I don't remember that part of Rebel Without a Cause, but I have to rewatch it.
