Where is the caterpillar?!

It's a really easy book for my kiddo to read by herself. She's so proud of herself! she said. She said she doesn't need me reading to her at night, even though I'm late! She would have read the story to me instead of leaving me with the phone. nan

My kids like it
Derived From Web , Dec 14, 2019
My boys are desperate that they have read, especially my oldest special needs son, who is struggling. There are no shortage of Pete the cat stories to choose from. Even though he's only a teenager, the words are usually easy enough to build his confidence. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to improve their odds of success.

Start YOUR child reading !
Derived From Web , Jul 16, 2018
As retired educators, we obviously looked for books that sparked an interest or had great and interesting illustrations. But a book needs more than a child to read. Pete the series does just that. Easy catch phrases, proper timing of text associated with illustrations help the reader with anticipation and critical thinking, it said. Our grand daughter is reading! The princess is now reading to learn, her father said.

Really cute book and kids loved it

The book was also recommended because all the elementary and middle school students do a unit on butterflies, so the content was relatable and relevant.

Totally Groovy!!
Derived From Web , Jun 14, 2018
Pete the Cat is back! My 4-year-old has been all about Pete the Cat for about two years now. She asks me to read these books to her at least twice a day and is now starting to be able to recite the books back to me. Pete the Cat is just totally groovy. It's great to be back home, said Blair.

A generic disappointment
Derived From Web , May 18, 2018
My son and I love the original Pete the Cat book about loving his shoes, Judy said. This is a generic early reader with a storyline about finding a caterpillar and waiting for it to be a butterfly. Any character could have been in it, he said. Pete the cat has absolutely nothing to do with it, and that is a disappointment. The story is not even interesting as an early reader, because it has some difficult words that don't suit early, beginning readers. My son can't read it for himself because of the difficulty of the words and doesn't want to read it. It's just that the story would work for a kid who really likes bugs.

My son absolutely loves the series. It's all new again. The new collection features Dr. Zeus alongside the likes of Asterix and Crassus. It's great to be back home, said Burt Flickinger of Strategic Resource Group.
