   My son was happy
He has a very good eye for detail, and I think Pete the Cat books are great. The book arrived in perfect condition, and he was very excited to start reading it.

Pete the books are such a great series for children to get into for beginng reading and each book has a positive message behind it, Sosa said.

My two boys absolutely love it. We have read it numerous times and the kids really enjoyed the stickers in the middle of the book.

   Love Pete the Cat!
I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, and I'm not even a teenager yet. My kiddo struggles with reading and gets frustrated pretty easily but there's never been any struggle to get him to read when the Pete the Cat book comes on.

   Borrow it don’t buy it
It's just that I never read it. It's not the best Pete the Cat book by far. It's disappointing, Beckham said. The rhythm the books normally have isn't as pronounced and although the kids liked the story, they weren't as engaged as usual.

   Pete the cat very popular!
Pete the Cat has a loyal following of die-hard fans, at least at my house. These have to be very nice transitions into more active reading efforts, which is great, and the stickers are definitely a bonus, he said.

   Perfect for new readers
It's perfect for my 4-year-old who has just started reading. Even though the repetitive characters are great, Kristen says she really likes them. The book is relatively short, with the pages measuring 1 1/2 inches.

   The kids have their say!
The princess's mom, Mary, said the whole thing was "hilarious." Her favorite part about the treasure hunting was when they got it all. Dad says Dean's done better story-wise, but the artwork is quite good.

I don't know why this book receives such good ratings. It is the worst of the Pete ...
I'm not sure why this book received such good ratings. In fact, I would have liked to have seen the whole thing finished off with a flourish of catnip, said Mr. Pete the Cat. Its not fun to read, Tunick said. This is a terrible dialogue, even by Hollywood standards.

Fun Pete the Cat story with pirate cats and treasure - great for nap time
Pete the Cat is my grandson. He also appears to be into pirates at the moment, we're told. He's really into it, said Blair. He visits our house almost every week and, while I read to him often, one of our favorite times is just before nap when we do some stickers and read a book of his choice. We read the story and then two stickers - his choice of whether they go in the book, on his shirt or on the back of his hands. The stickers are well made and stick no matter where he puts them. The story is about a boy who goes looking for treasure. It's a long story to be a good time one, and looks like it will be a fairly easy reader when he is a bit older.
