The book was bigger than I thought it would be. My son got his first Pete the cat book as a gift. I decided to get the whole series as he grows older. There are books for holidays. !

Pete the Cat The Big Easter Adventure is a special story for springtime. James and Kimberlin Dean wrote a rhyming poem about a sleepy eyed cat who is hunting for eggs and enjoys some Easter related hijinx. Some of the characters in the books are very similar to those from the show Rocko's Modern Life. If you haven't read any of the other Pete the Cat Books, little ones will enjoy them, especially if they like kitty cats.

Where is the story? My son was very sad. Pete colors his eggs. It stops suddenly. I was expecting Pete to hide the eggs so the other characters could find them. It talks about how Pete is going to do it, but doesn't actually do it. It was a let down.
