Hurray for Pete!

Pete the Cat is back! This book is absolutely perfect for my 6 year old grandson as it is a My First Shared reader and he absolutely loves Pete. The pictures give great clues to the emergent reader, the sentences are short and simple, and there is enough of a story to keep interest, he said. This book will go nicely with the train engineer hat I gave him when I was his age.

We LOVE Pete!
Derived From Web , May 1, 2022
My 4 year old daughter absolutely LOVES her Pete books. Even her 2 1/2 year old brother, who is autistic, has fallen in love with them. She has the Pete we got here from the Easter Bunny, it's great quality, too!

Pete the Cat is a winner!
Derived From Web , May 1, 2022
Pete Cat is a great collection. These stories are a little more sophisticated than many books for this age group, and the illustrations are engaging and perfectly fit the text on each page. The stories address many of the concerns that children have about their world, about their friends and about things they enjoy. Both boys and girls love Pete the Cat ) My two-year-old granddaughter absolutely LOVES this series so much, that we also bought a Pete the Cat plush toy. It's one of her favorites.

Love this!

Television images could not be loaded. Pete is off on his way to see his grandma. This book has adorable art, and introduces time, Rowling said. This book is perfect for gifting or reading along with your child. It reminded me how much I loved going to see my grandma when I was little. Absolutely loved this book.

A decent read for kids, book itself poorly made
Derived From Web , Nov 19, 2020
The writing of the book itself is on par with the other Pete books. There won't be any Nobel prizes in literature for this, but if you have a young train enthusiast, they will love it. The book was a total disaster, from the cover to the last page. But for 5-year-olds, books can be hard.

The pages fell out
Derived From Web , Sep 12, 2020
Television images could not be loaded. I recommend this book to my kids. The glue that binds the pages together isn't strong enough. The day I received this order, the pages fell apart and out of the book due to glue not being able to hold it together. This is a great book to read to your kids or have them read it.

Story is cute, but pages falling out - poor quality
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2020
The story is very cute, but when the book arrived, one of the pages was falling out, I would estimate that only 1 inch of the binding was still attached to the book. Amazon sent me a second copy of the book, which I found very cool. These books are meant for children, so they should be a little bit more resilient, Mr. Rule told the judge.

Cat's train trip to visit grandmother
Derived From Web , Mar 31, 2020
Pete the Cat's Train Trip is a colorful children's book about a family of cats and they are headed to the station. The twins are headed to their grandmother's house. Pete's car is one of those that nobody talks about. The book is in the category of "I can read" by Miroslav Lefebvre. A cute story.

Pete is always my go to story!
Derived From Web , Jun 15, 2019
Pete and the rest of the gang are such a great series for children to get into for their first reading and Cat are definitely worth it. Even with the structure, however, children can pick up basic reading very easily and each novel always has a positive message behind it. However, I can confirm that children of 3 and 4 years of age can read this book and will enjoy it.
