   A great message for kids
Here comes Pete again with another story about being true to himself. This is a funny story about all the different clothes that Pete's friends think he should wear. What is silly is how my 3 year old is able to tell if Pete is happy or sad, though his expression doesn 't change much. A great conversation starter about feelings, being true to yourself and what it means to be cool.

   A huge hit with the preschool and early-elementary crowd
English is taught at an international secondary school as a second language. Pete the Cat books are always a huge favorite : colorful, humorous illustrations, easy-to-understand text, and stories that can easily be followed without understanding every word, and this book continued the trend. This is the first reading '' book with Pete the cat I used, and I was slightly apprehensive, but it did not disappoint! Pete puts on all the clothes that everyone else likes and ends up looking very silly until Pete decides to put on the things he likes the best, and ends up looking as cool as he would like. This was great for teaching clothes and colors lessons as well as the word Favorite ''. Regardless of the language spoken by the children in your life, this book will be greatly enjoyed!

   Great job Pete!
My son loves Pete The Cat books bc they also have them in his school library. Consistency in characters is helpful to my son, who doesn 't have a long attention span. He can relate more to books in the series bc. He remembers the characters. He also thinks that Pete is quite funny and points him out if there is more than one cat on the page. I have a few of these books and am glad to own them, because my son is actually reading them with me!

It's another Pete the cat book that you read a million times. This kid loves him. It is cute, but now I want to make cookies.
