   Oh, pig...
I gave this to my niece for her birthday. They love them and we read them in first grade. Pig the Pug is a favorite with my preschoolers. My niece wasn't happy that she got a book for her birthday. Oh, well. Pig the Pug teaches good character by being a bad character and having bad karma, like the modern Berenstain Bears. We like the series. These books are recommended by me. They make great read alouds, even though they are too advanced for a kindergartener.

   Not the same book!
I don't know if this book has been changed or edited, but it is not the same book as my son's. A page that says " no they' re mine!" is mentioned on a review from July 2020. Are you blind? Only me! You keep your paws off them, swine! My page does not say that. I have read the original books several times. I don't know why I got a different version. The video posted by the manufacturer has someone reading the book, and it says the same words as the original book, that my book doesn't have.

   Bought multiple
The main characters are exactly like our furr babies. The funny story made us purchase several copies for our friends. It has a good life lesson that will make people smile. Adults love it.

   Hilarious!
I love to read a kids book to my boys. The illustrations are great. I learn a lot from laughing and sharing. I think my favorite kids book is right now.

This is about to be your new favorite!
My little tinkerturd doesn't destroy it as fast because the board books are awesome. My child who was behind in speech learned to say " pig" within days after we bought a larger paper version of the book. She will say " pig" and " pug" multiple times a day and then wait for you to open the door so she can crawl in your lap and read it. We like making voices for the characters. I can not recommend this book enough! I like buying books from Amazon.

Kinda dumb - Thelma the Unicorn is better
Cute but not as good as Thelma the Unicorn. The lesson is not great because the wordsrhymes don't flow well. He shared his stuff because he was hurt. I guess it's a karma type lesson. The book by the same author is called Thelma the Unicorn. I would go for the unicorn.

If you are a pug lover, you need this book!
My family owns about 12 pugs, and I bought this book for my grandmother. The drawings are detailed and exact, and you can tell this author has been around pugs, the way he captured the shape of their bodies and faces in the drawings, and the spoiled and bratty behavior of the pugs are realistic. We bought more books to keep in our family after having a good laugh.

This is NOT just a kid's book - read it and find out why!!
It would have been a favorite of mine if I'd had this book as a kid. This book is a favorite of mine as an adult. It makes me happy every time I read it. It's possible I'm a human version of Pig the Pug. Think about how many of us might be.
