Book Overview

Pig the Pug and his best friend Trevor are back for another hilarious adventure in the bestselling series

In this hilarious adventure, Pig the Pug STINKS Pig likes to be smelly, so he rolls around in the garbage, laps up spoiled milk, tracks dirty paw prints all over the house, and even sticks his head in the toilet But enough is enough Pig's owner tries to get him to take a bath, but Pig refuses Pig has a plan to stop up the tub, but when it backfires, will Pig get clean after all? Rich with author-illustrator Aaron Blabey's signature rhyming text and unforgettable illustrations, Pig the Stinker is a laugh-out-loud story that teaches Pig -- and readers -- an important (and hilarious) lesson, just like in the five previous books in the series (Pig the Pug, Pig the Winner, Pig the Elf, Pig the Star, and Pig the Fibber).

   Kids love this series
My grandson loves these books, I got him the first one the Christmas before last and he picks out a new book from the titles on the back of the book. He looks so happy, Tunick said. I have them send them to him, he is so excited when they arrive, I said.
   Mischievous Pug!
But he is such a character that I was so happy to see my niece excited for her first Christmas morning! She loves pugs and she has a little mischief," said Dr. Goin. It was perfect, said Dr. Phil Slover, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Health Research. One had me guffawing, Mr. Booher told the judge.
   Pig the Pug
My granddaughter and I are hooked. If you know a child who loves books, then get them all. If you liked it, you'll be glad you did!
Great book. My teeny-weeny, little girl and I enjoyed it very much.
She's a fan of the pictures, and she also learnt a bit about personal hygiene. I've had many children who were drawn to the series by the pictures.
   LOVE Pig
We're huge fans of all the Pig the Pug books, Raymond said. Our 1 year old loves seeing pictures that look like his "brother" Buddy the pug in the books and the stories are cute and hilarious, Melissa said. Even my husband and I enjoy them so much we don't mind reading them over and over again.
   Great series
We love the series. Every time we read any of the three, my 2 year old asks for it again! We do 15+ books a day, and these are the only ones she has ever asked to be repeated! They are full books, not board-book versions of the original books. If you don't like talking about stinky gross things, just don't buy this one. We don't mind, Mr. Dhaliwal said.
   Advisor for the stinky!
My son absolutely loves the book, even though he only has a few pages. I personally give it 5 stars but I could see others not caring so much because it's just a close hair to semi-appropriate. It's over, it seems to me. It's also worth noting that the book is extremely sturdy, thanks to the careful craft of the bookbinder.
This is a really great book for youngsters.
This book is pretty good for youngsters, too. My son was actually the one who told me about these books, because they were really great and cute to read, said Jennette Tamayo.
This book was highly offensive to our pug! He chewed up the library copy.
Great lesson in obedience and cleanliness, as pug owners we love this series. Bought it to replace the lost copy of our pug's diary.
   Pig the pug.
It was a present from my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He has a few others in the series and they all seem to enjoy the books. Daddy reads him to him every night before bed. I have not read the books but think they are great books for children to read.
