I gave a copy to each of my flower girls when I asked them to be part of the wedding. The story is very cute and will be a good book for their mothers to read to them to help them start the conversation about what a flower girl is. This book, however, does not explain what a flower girl is really about, it is more about a young girl misinterpreting it and then learning what it means. By reading the book and pausing to point out the things that will be the same, different, etc. about the wedding, this book could be very effective in helping young girls visualize the upcoming event.

Kiddo enjoyed it my kiddo. With her crazy ideas and the book fits perfectly into the cartoon narrative. This book was not intended to inform small girls about how to be a flower girl lol sorry for the lagging in the previous reviews. The book is a homage to the character of the original cartoon!
