I knew the book was accepted and in '' disgusting condition, but the book was used. Most of the pages were submerged if they were watermarked in something.

Fun stuff, 5 year old was able to enjoy the story and follow it for many many nights. Some things might be controversial for Texans, but Pippi comes from Scandinavia...

The best and most well written of the Pippi Longstocking books
Derived From Web , Jul 27, 2017
It is a great story about a fearless, impossibly fortunate little girl. Parents be aware, however, that it was written by a Swede in the 1950s, and there are mild racial themes and talk of cannibalism. Probably suitable for 7+, although my 5 year old absolutely loves the books, and this is her favorite. The translation could also be modernized.
