What is the proper way to ask Mr. Panda for doughnuts?
Patiently and politely, Mr. Panda asks the animals he comes across if they would like a doughnut. A penguin, a skunk, and a whale all say yes, but they do not remember to say please and thank you. Is anyone worthy of Mr. Panda's doughnuts?
Steve Antony has captured a cute panda, delightful animals hungry for doughnuts, and a manners lesson. With the black-and-white animals, plain backgrounds, and brightly colored doughnuts, Antony's art is bold, striking, and engaging.

Not worth the money, i would buy this book again if it costs a dollar or two. I thought that this was a book of manners. There is literally one line per page, and the whole book is dedicated to learning a word-please. And it is presented in a very strange way that even adults were confused after reading it about what the message of the story is. I actually thought that this book is meant to be drawn since it is mostly empty on the inside.

Teaches bad morals.

I purchased this book for my classroom. I think it tries to teach children good manners, but actually teaches them that when they say, it is okay to be greedy.

A great message and story
Derived From Web , May 18, 2022
Basically, the book is a panda with a box full of donuts, and when he offers donuts to other animals, he is rude about it. No thank you or gimme attitude. The Panda then revokes the donut offer from all animals without manners and finally finds a polite animal that he gives the entire box to happily ) Overall a super cute story with great pictures.

Not the Kindle version!
Derived From Web , May 18, 2022
I downloaded the Kindle version of this book to read to my three-year-old grandson, but it was not a success in the Kindle version. You have to double each piece of text to make it large enough to read. The problem is that when you tap on text on the right side of the screen it often turns the page! You can, of course, turn around but all that tapping and turning is a distraction. Even more distracting is that sometimes the text enlarges itself for no apparent reason, so when you shrink it actually enlarges the text!

A Lesson on PLEASE
Derived From Web , May 18, 2022
As a pre-school teacher, I am always looking for books that teach my younger students to be polite. This book by Steven Antony hits all the FUNNY and rude spots but teaches a lesson at the end. Be able to discuss the reasons why Mr. Panda did what to who? Great for the classroom or at home.

Pictures and Message are Cute, Story is Not
Derived From Web , Sep 3, 2021
My 2.5YO enjoys reading a cookie type book and Little Blue Truck series if you give a mouse. This book did not really grab her interest. The underlying message is important, but the story itself is so simple, I find it too much on the way. There are many other books with a better story telling that the same.

Mr Panda gives a flat out answer No '' every time. At the end, a character said please '' and was given the item. I don 't like how it was written at all. It was never put away to be read again.

Disappointed
Derived From Web , Aug 17, 2020
I really wanted to like this book because of the cute Panda character and the lesson, it supposedly teaches. However, there isn 't much of a lesson taught. It does not teach the reader WHY Panda changed his mind or have him teach manners to the other animals... they are seemingly confused not knowing what they have done wrong.

Adorable story about manners
Derived From Web , Apr 10, 2020
My daughter also liked this book immediately ; we really got the thank you, Mr Panda. Cute and funny, easy and short enough for small children to understand, remember and learn quickly a lesson. I liked these books so much that I plan on buying more Mr. Panda books and look forward to seeing my children as much as this one.
